Not an MK customer but is defending the name of the business...not sure why???

Feel like as a neutral maybe I’d be a less biased voice? Anyway MK Dons are called MK Dons and there’s not much you can really do about it 🤷

I think there's contradictory information here. If plc shareholders swap their plc shares for shares in the new holding company, the DT won't have sole control of the plough lane freehold.

It’s a great article and certainly worth a read, Wimbledon fans… 👍💙💛

Arsenal U21s in the EFL Trophy tomorrow night. From our U18s, surely it’s the ideal opportunity to put Thierry Henry in the Dons squad for a bit of publicity? 😉

Harry Kane has it all.
Right foot, left foot, heading, passing, every facet of his game is quality.
Most of all, he has the professionalism and work ethic and you never hear a bad word about him from those who know him.
He’s made England 🏴 proud (and Spurs, Bayern, etc). #BallonDor

Let’s go Harry!
Huge congratulations to @HarryHedges34 on making his well deserved @EFL debut on Saturday, hopefully the first of many appearances in yellow & blue. #AFCW 💛💙

It is ridiculous how it actually commercially limits them. They cannot fully connect with their local area without telling them they miss having a real history.

Pete Winkelman should’ve called them MK Crazy Gang. At least then the name would’ve been as mad as the idea of the club in the first place.

No brainer - a franchise was, is, and will always been a scourge on English football. Each club is born of its community, and represents far more than what happens on the pitch. Have football in MK, but don’t pretend to represent a community that’s 50 miles away.

Imagine if they changed it one day, and the MK fans threw a hissy fit. Maybe then they would finally understand what the Wimbledon fans have had to endure when they stole the club. Of course its the owners perrogative, and with Winkleman gone the chances can only increase.

In one way yes, but keeping the stolen name so no one forgets what they did? Also fair enough.

Let me rephrase the question: Milton Keynes supporters who would you like to think your club is the successor to?
43%Milton Keynes (City)
57%Wimbel(don) from SWL?

Colloquial, but a fair number of people think they should keep it as a badge of dishonour, while others think they should change it because they stole it.
Better if the club just folded, of course. :)

There is no “Don” in Milton Keynes - it is a continuous millstone around their neck which is a constant reminder of the grave mistake made by the FA - reinforced by the later rule banning such future moves out of a club’s natural catchment area
