We’re reaping the rewards by being over-taxed by $1.86 Billion??
Indiana finished Fiscal Year 2026 with a $1.86 BILLION surplus and nearly $4 BILLION in total reserves.

Four-time Indianapolis 500 winner A.J. Foyt is the oldest living former Indy 500 winner. Born in 1935, he turned 91 on January 16, 2026.
Foyt is also now the Indy 500 winner who has lived to be the oldest such. On April 6, 2026, Foyt surpassed Louis Meyer in age to take over that distinction.
Three-time Indy 500 winner Louis Meyer died in 1995 at the age of 91 years, 79 days. At the time, he was the Indy 500 winner who had lived to be the oldest. Foyt has now lived longer than Meyer did.
