Walk-on mentality 😤

No moral speeches here. That was straight BTA in the second half. In this CFB environment the players still gotta play. Not going for a draft pick here, just trying to gain + retain recruits. Gotta put some good things on film the rest of the way and hold on for dear life once the portal opens. Just beat Stanford. That is all. Forever and always, Go Bears

Watch the blocking by the skill positions of SMU. I only bring this up because of what we try to do on offense. Yes what are we doing could work ONLY if you have guys blocking like SMU. Just a note but boy this whole thing fell apart in the 2nd

This went left so quickly

I like what I see so far. My instinct wants to say slow the game down because of their offense but JKS is making on time/on rhythm throws and when he’s doing that I’m taking him over anyone. Only 1 1/2 quarters though. Defense has to keep everything in front and let’s not shoot ourselves in the foot with penalties

Good morning Cal fam! It’s Gameday! Y’all still with us? How we feeling?

Good afternoon Cal fans! How are we feeling? *Takes deep breath again* It’s Gameday!

Game ball goes to Jackson Brosseau, Carson Perry-Smith, Ashten Emory, the entire defense, and the offensive and defensive play calling. Simple, simple, simple. Don’t over complicate things. Limit self inflicted wounds and make the other team actually beat us

There is just so much to say with those last two drives…..I’m glad we won but goodness gracious I woulda had to write a book on here if it went the other way

Jordan King with the key block for the go ahead touchdown #WalkOnMentality

We got time

Got the lead. Now bring us home Defense. Let’s have a disciplined drive

Great defensive stopper + missed field goal. Momentum is a real thing and it’s on our side. Let’s score a touchdown

Halftime. Game is within reach. Everything on O and D seems much simpler. Can we produce a turnover or two in the second half?

Everyone in that facility needs to look in the mirror. The only thing I can say is decent is the effort (effort doesn’t equal execution). There is no phase that has looked good, literally no phase. I do believe in Lupoi, he has been around too many successful teams and organizations to not know how. He also has the passion to do it. But obviously these growing pains are way worse than anyone could’ve predicted. The expectations were through the roof and the energy was through the roof and that’s why watching this is so frustrating. Nothing left to do but go back to work, we are gonna have to sharply curve our expectations for this season and focus every game for the rest of the season on executing the simple things and hopefully we can build from there. Never losing hope, just extremely disappointed. But forever and always…..Go Bears

If they are showing all out blitz why are we back there just chillin passing the ball

Absolutely. Bill Belicheck said it best: “In order to win you have to prevent yourself from losing.” This is losing football right now and we need to peel back all the layers to figure out why
