The government on Wednesday cut the price of petrol by Rs7.06 per litre and that of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs3.71. Following the revision, petrol will retail at Rs362.00 per litre, while HSD will cost Rs387.81. The prices are applicable for Nov 5 (Thursday), according to a notification by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra).
