This begins as early as childhood with addressing inequity in education funding that intensifies historical barriers to homeownership and other economic opportunities. We know the current systems are oppressive and set up womem up to fail, which hurts all of us. Let's change it.

By looking at systemic racism and sexism, which affects every aspect of a woman’s life, we can start to have dialogue about the real issues within the gender pay gap.

On #EqualPayDay, I want to highlight the underrepresentation of women in politics, esp. women of color. It matters because women in positions of leadership shape how we + future generations view women as leaders. When women led, communities thrive. Our lived experiences matter.
