Got some great news on this lovely vacation day. Our very own @AKLance1 got a hardship waiver appeal APPROVED! Always nice when one of our hornets can keep doing what they love.
There are currently discussions to shorten transfer portal windows in Football by eliminating the Spring window. The NCAA is still gathering feedback from coaches & student-athletes, but should vote on whether to shorten the window or not in October.
Classes have started today! This means that for the 1st 5 days of classes student-athletes that are not full-time can practice, but not compete. Don't move from 12+ credits/units!

Since Official Visit season is going to ramp up soon, this is a good reminder about visits. Also, the NCAA allows schools to provide the actual round-trip cost for up to two family members in all sports. That changed happened in July 2023.
