It's so interesting how comfortable you are being wrong publicly. First, something called "hybrid" vtubing exists. And it's way more fun for some. Second, it's words like yours that push people to not want to be part of a certain fandom. I put 3D hands on top of my live2d model, it's super cool despite the occasional hiccup! It's scuffed vroid model with just the forearms and hands, used a webcam with XR Animator + warudo to do the tracking!

Heartbreaking to see some of the creators for my favorite fandoms I grew up watching turn into shameless shills for vibecoded slop and even worse not disclosing that the mods they’re showcasing are almost solely made with ai to begin with. Your viewers have a right to know.

In my opinion from observing, ai assisted ≠ vibecoded One side is using it as a minimal tool. I’m fine with that. The other side’s using it to spit out shit, not testing it, no coding or modding experience, and sending it out to the wild for a few clicks. That’s vibecoding.
