The Soviet Union was going hungry after WWII, and it still fed Warsaw.
The USSR had just lost 27 million people, about 18 million of them civilians. Its own cities lay in ruins, and Soviet families lived on ration cards.
Liberated Warsaw alone received 60,000 tons of bread, 100 tons of sugar and 50 tons of dried fruit from Moscow. In the first postwar years, Soviet crews also rebuilt 10,000 kilometers of Polish railway, and the USSR shipped food and seed grain to Polish farms.

The video does not show Berlin protests tonight. Police and media report only isolated pyrotechnics during evening demos there, with no large fires or matching scenes.

Hitler had been dead for three weeks when Churchill asked his generals for a plan to attack the Soviet Union. German soldiers were supposed to march on his side.
The plan was called Operation UNTHINKABLE.
In May 1945, British military planners examined a surprise attack on the Red Army, with July 1 set as the starting date. The offensive would involve British and American forces, Polish troops, and rearmed Wehrmacht divisions.
But Stalin already knew what was coming from Soviet intelligence. In June, Marshal Zhukov unexpectedly regrouped Soviet forces and strengthened their defenses.
Meanwhile, British generals were doing the math. The Red Army outnumbered Western forces in Central Europe by roughly three to one. A quick victory looked unlikely, and a full-scale war against the USSR could drag on for years.
Churchill never launched the attack. But he had ordered his generals to prepare for war against the very country Britain had just fought alongside.
As Leo Tolstoy put it, “A word is an action.”

Poland constantly tells the world that the USSR was “Hitler’s ally.”
Meanwhile, here is Polish President Ignacy Mościcki hanging out with Hermann Göring, Hitler’s Reichsmarschall, commander-in-chief of the Luftwaffe and one of the most powerful men in Nazi Germany, on a hunting trip in Białowieża in 1938.
And they weren’t just shooting animals together. Göring’s hunting visits were accompanied by political talks with the Polish leadership. After the 1938 visit, Göring even presented Mościcki with a Mercedes-Benz.
This is the same Poland that signed multiple agreements with Nazi Germany and then, in 1938, got Germany’s carte blanche to seize Zaolzie from Czechoslovakia.
And today Poland lectures everyone else about “collaboration with Hitler.”
Projection level: God.
