Arcane is excellent, doesn’t matter what’s canon, what matters is what gets released. Engage with art beyond “but it’s not exactly what I wanted.” I promise you that you’ll be happier and more open minded.

“[Looking back], I’m kind of just sad that … maybe next split we won’t have the same 5.”
“I have so much respect for my teammates, if we’d lost a Bo3 to [TL or LOS] and not gone to quarters, I would've just lost all hope in myself being a pro, I think.”

Glen Powell has reportedly been in talks to join the DCU
"A major role that would require a big commitment and multiple contract options"

It’s hard to believe I’m so used to import rosters that my standard is one or two NA players. I’d rather get demolished internationally if it results in greater regional pride in our wins.
If their team is the same with an import top, any other teams are 10000% more likely to acquire my fandom if your team is just imports :/.
Just btw, not a knock against any player, but I can’t see myself rooting for an LCS team without a North American player.

I know Dhokla is going to get a ton of shit for this series and deservedly so but where the fuck is a counter play LITERALLY ANYWHERE as they have sent 3 top so many fucking times this series

The Sakowitz merch buff goes crazy. I buy clg merch m, they win later that year and go quarters(as nrg but still)
I buy fly merch, they win and make quarters
This year I bought Lyon merch before Swiss began… 👀 only god can save GenG now
One of the most “work of art” games up there with unfinished swan, the witness, portal, etc. it’s a masterpiece
Enjoy a story told without words, about unlikely companionship and mystifying metamorphosis!

I mean whatever attitude you imagine the average NA org has toward local talent or the level of scouting you think they actually apply and process to build an LCS team over the years--
It's worse
It just is
Seeing threads constantly like what this ktg guy types is so annoying, It's so fucking frustrating watching NA teams continue to import mediocre players year after year instead of giving our own talent a chance, just for everyone to turn around and say "NA has no talent" whenever we get embarrassed internationally.
How are we supposed to develop talent when so many of our own players never even get a real opportunity? You have NA players grinding for years, performing at the top of Tier 2, doing everything they possibly can to prove themselves, just to get overlooked for an import who isn't necessarily even better than them.
It feels like NA players have to prove twice as much just to be considered for the same opportunities. Being an import shouldn't automatically make you more valuable than a domestic player, and having played in Korea doesn't automatically mean you're better than someone who's been grinding in NA for years.
Look at some of the best international performances the West has ever had. 2015 Fnatic and Origen making Worlds semifinals, 2016 CLG making MSI finals, 2018 C9 making Worlds semifinals, 2018 Fnatic making Worlds finals, 2019 G2 winning MSI and making Worlds finals, and even G2 this year at First Stand, sweeping both FearX and Gen.G to make grand finals.
So many of our best international performances have come from teams that actually invested in their own region's talent and built strong domestic cores. Why do we constantly act like the answer to becoming internationally competitive is to import more players?
There's so much value in having five players who speak the same language fluently, understand each other, share the same goals, and are genuinely hungry to prove themselves and represent their region. Having that team chemistry, communication, and players who actually want to build something together matters so much more than people want to give it credit.
I'm not saying every import is bad. There have obviously been imports who have elevated the level of competition in NA, and those players deserve their spots. But importing should be about bringing in players who genuinely improve your team, not just signing someone because they played in Korea or another major region.
You can't keep overlooking domestic talent, refusing to develop players, and then use the lack of NA talent as an excuse when things don't work out. There are plenty of players in NA Tier 2 right now who are more than capable of competing in the LCS and would be better than the import you’re thinking of signing over us once again. We just need organizations willing to actually take chances on us players, invest in our development, and give us a real opportunity to succeed.
At some point organizations need to stop looking everywhere else for the answer and actually invest in the players they already have here.
What Paulo typed at the bottom is only a handful of the people good enough / have the ability and deserve to promote up. Don’t keep saying NA has no talent when you refuse to give NA talent a chance.

If a third party partnership opportunity forced you to shutter a part of yourself, you probably aren’t the right partner for that opportunity 🤷

Quite literally what EVERY mod pack should make you do. I HATE playing a goal oriented pack and being allowed to conveniently ignore half of it because of optimization or interest. I love having to engage with everything.

There was several hours more of footage that isn't included, but I did wish it touched on a lot of things ppl dont realize. Most people dont know fearless is because of me, or that R1 and B1 as terminology. Or full clearing due to me and malice, which we were openly mocked for roughly 2+ years. (which thankfully was massively polevaulted and perception changed by Canyon and the damwon interview)
2014 videos on YouTube explaining minion wave manipulation and how things work, or a champions face lets you know click location, or how to tell something is in the brush by seeing how your champions auto-path AI responds (showed this to boxbox iirc in the coaching session)
Most things were very mew2king esque cuz training tool and even replays and stuff weren't as common or didnt exist like now, but at least max touches on that in this video.
Ppl also commonly think I was or have always been "low mmr" even tho I this is also untrue and videos/account records show I used to be equivalent to modern day high GM/low chal. Max also talks about coming to Korea fresh off 100T and losing to me in all the 1v1s and being better at him in SoloQ despite he was top10 NA challenger
But none of this matters. People dont care about the truth or whats right, they care about their feelings. I am simply an autistic retard, so I'm wrong I fear go next
It's fine tho, I dont do anything much anymore anyway, cause no point/purpose to
