The rulemaking came after the DEP asked Drexel to evaluate PFAS contamination in the state, which concluded the EPA health advisory for PFAS was no longer protective of public health.
The study was conducted by researchers in @DrexelMedicine @DrexelEngr & @drexelpubhealth

Now published! @asajclewis's recent paper on studying the impacts of microbial weathering processes on the leaching of PFAS from biosolids, which we conducted as a part of a collaborative @NSF project with Erica McKenzie et al @TU_Engineering.
