One of the best scores flat out. If I recall correctly, he didn't compose to picture. He wrote a bunch of cues and handed them to Coppola to cut in as needed.

Works great ironically, too. Served me well over the decades.

One of Cruises’s best performances too. His fear is what really sells Hoffman’s menace. It’s rare to see Hunt that helpless.

Agreed. I’m 44 and still feel the urge to look away from some shots. Like the overhead of the guy getting dragged under.

And it works because of Silvestri’s unbelievably kickass music.
It’ll never not be funny to me that PREDATOR has sitcom-like end credits.

Endorsed. I had the immense luck of seeing an early screening at Comic-Con. It tore the ROOF off the place.
If you have the day off today and you’ve never seen Attack the Block, you have no excuse not to watch one of the best action scifi films of the last 20 years.

Definitely picking this up. My Rifle, Pony & Me is my kid’s favorite bedtime song.

MASH on Hulu looks awful, especially the weird color grade. Thankful for my DVD box set (and no laff track). 🍸

The Ursa is so close to a perfect camera. But the shortcomings are getting worse as the years march on.

Wow. And I'm assuming specular reflections etc? I never would've guessed.

A someone who got the hell out of their film program and went to a much better one, it makes me happy to say fuck Emerson.
