Pretty sure if you look really closely you’ll see the flag is upside down…
The Olympic flag is being raised to the Olympic Anthem, performed by 60 choristers from the Radio France Choir, and 90 musicians from the French National Orchestra. 🎶
Look closely – the Trocadéro stage is shaped like the Eiffel Tower! 🇫🇷

NEW | The LMA says making the hiring of female coaches or assistant coaches a mandatory requirement for WSL clubs should be seriously considered.
Chelsea boss Emma Hayes told me the game now needs “creative ways” to “close that gap” ⬇️

Football should be for everyone.
But too often discrimination acts as a barrier, preventing children from falling in love with the beautiful game.
That’s why we’re partnering with @kickitout to help broaden opportunities and encourage participation 💪

Kick It Out 🤝 @FunFootballUK
Working together, we’ll help encourage participation by:
⚽ Upskilling coaches on unconscious cultural biases
⚽ Providing bespoke training that no governing body currently offers
⚽ Launching a bursary for aspiring coaches who are unable to finance their qualifications
This will kick off a grassroots month of action. More details to come in February.
