Here is a look at where the growing season and Frost/Freeze program is active vs. inactive across our area. The red shaded areas have experienced a widespread freeze. Much of the green shaded area has experienced frost, but not a freeze, and thus the growing season continues.

Another bright and sunny day across the region. These high temperatures, for most, are 5 to 10 degrees above normal. Closer to the shore, readings are closer to normal.

We have been enjoying some mild weather the past few days, but cooler temperatures are expected Friday & Saturday with highs in the upper 50s to mid 60s. Frost and freeze conditions are forecast Friday & Saturday nights for many inland areas. Plenty of sunny and dry days ahead!

A nor'easter continues to lurk offshore, with little if any impact inland, but elevated winds and waters near and on the tidal waters. Continue to use caution if venturing near or on the tidal waters today.

Winds will continue to gradually decrease through tonight. It will be a colder night as temperatures drop into the 30s for many. A Freeze Warning is in effect for tonight through Sunday morning for areas NW of the I-95 corridor.

We'll have quite the temperature tug-of-war this week between the summer-like heat & humidity vs the crisp fall air! We will finish off with a big shift over the weekend with overnight temps falling into the 30s for several locations, bringing a round of frost/freeze concerns.
