Being a conservative sucks because many of us are trying to do what's best for humanity and we are considered worse than hitler by performative leftists who act morally superior when their convictions come entirely from whatever is trending.

Martin Short's performance as Larry David is hands down the best acting I've seen in my entire life. For a long while I thought it actually was Larry David.

This might cost me in more ways than one, but: Epstein is fake. The whole memeplex around it is fake. It is the closest thing to the Ring of Power that exists in politics. Both sides have wielded this ephemeral boogeyman against the other, and it’s always a disaster because once you obtain power you get to see the files and you realize there’s nothing there, which means you have no meat to feed the rabid dogs you rallied to your cause, and they eat you instead. It’s a mass hysteria akin to witch panics, but on an information-age scale. I guess what I’m saying is Michael Tracey is Frodo.

Not saying this is the only or even biggest factor but it doesn't help when your biggest media personalities are in the business of bedwetting every chance they get like this instead of staying on message and selling the admin to the public - something the libs excel at
Trump launched an unpopular and pointless war. Gas prices are too high. People can’t afford groceries. Trump abandoned the American First message. This is why Republicans are getting crushed. It’s very simple.

This photo went viral with zero credit. So let's fix that - I am the photographer. "Stop," Utah / 2016 From the series Shaped by the West. Also released as a book in three editions (sold out as of writing), exhibited from New York to Paris. Prints available if interested.

When I was 25 I dated the Editor at one of the most presitigious & avant garde magazines in NYC. One that was started by a famous artist in the 80's ;) The girl I was dating was extremely cool, and hung out with people like Steven Klein, Hedi Slimane and other edgy NYC fashion party types. She was part of the scene. It was hard for me to keep up with her and sure enough she lost interest after a few months, but we remained friends and kept in touch. I wound up moving to Los Angeles and one day she contacted me and said that she was organizing a shoot for the model Iman (David Bowie's wife), and they needed a location, one that would ideally be an old Hollywood mansion. She asked if I knew anyone who would let them shoot at their house. Even being with a big publication, the budgets were still tight. I told her that I had the perfect spot that they could shoot at. That wasn't a lie. A friend had just bought an iconic house in Benedict Canyon and I figured he would welcome the opportunity. He was a massive David Bowie fan and knew about my obsession with the girl I was trying to impress. He tentatively agreed and I messaged the girl and told her it was a go. I sent her pictures of the house and she was beyond excited, and said that the crew thought it was perfect. I showed this exchange to my friend, hoping it would excite him, but instead he went quiet. He started to imagine a large crew at the home he had just purchased, wearing their shoes in-doors, commanding the space, and he apologized but said tha the had to back out. He wasn't going to be able to deal with it. Obviously this was terrible news and I was not looking forward to breaking it to the girl, who for the first time in a while I was actually of use to her, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and get ahead of the situation. I called the Chatteau Marmont and told them I was producing a photo shoot for XXXX Magazine, which would feature Iman, and be shot by _______ _______ (famous photographer), and asked them if they would be available on the said date. They asked who I was and what agency I was with and I told them my name and that I was acting independently. I had heard stories of Lady Gaga and Prince acting as their own managers early in their career and figured I was taking a page out of the book and that somehow I would be rewarded for my hustle. The lady at the Chatteau hung up and told me that they would be in touch. I was excited about my potential location and that I would somehow be responsible for booking a big fashion shoot. Maybe I would even get a producer credit, maybe the girl would come to idolize me, rekindle our attraction. Maybe. I didn't want to jinx the opportunity so I kept it to myself, but later in the day I got a call. It was the 'famous' photographers agent. She got on the phone with me and I could feel the tension just in the way she breathed before she even opened her mouth. "Who the fuck are you and what do you think you're doing?" "I uh, I -" "Did you just call the Chatteau and tell them that my client would be doing a shoot there?" "um no, I uh asked if they were available" "What's your name?" "My name?" "Do you have a fucking name?" "My name is Sam" "Last name" "Why?" "Because I will make sure that you never work in the fucking town again you fucking idiot. We haven't even agreed to do the fucking shoot yet. We don't have a fucking contract and now we have some nobody going fucking rogue what kind of fucking mad house is XXXX Magazine running. Fucking idiots working there and fucking idiots making calls on our behalf. I want to say this very fucking clear. You are never to mention my fucking clients name ever again in your fucking life." She wound up pulling her client from the shoot and the whole thing temporarily fell apart. When I told my friend what happened she went silent for an extended moment, then muttered, "I just don't understand why you would think that would be okay."

This is what New York still looks like in my Mind's eye. When I think back on it. When I remember New Years Eve, 2000. The Warner Brothers Store and the NBA store. Times Square and the Toy Building in Madison Sq Park. FAO Scwartz. This was the New York I grew up with. It doesn't feel like the old days. It felt modern while it was happening. New, even. Part of the Millenium. And then the future happened and I realized this was the past. The distant past.

Seth Rogen has all the hallmarks of a man who’s going to leave his wife after 20+ years, impregnate someone who was born after their wedding day, and tell you fatherhood has changed his life, given him a new zest and he’s never felt a love like it etc etc etc
Seth Rogen says he and his wife are now more grateful than ever that they decided not to have children he’s not afraid to explain why. He admits they used to question whether they’d made the right decision, but now their conversations have shifted to, “Honestly, thank God we don’t have children.” His reasoning? They’re in the prime of their lives, understand themselves better than ever, and have the freedom to pursue their careers, enjoy life, and build the kind of relationship they’ve always wanted. But Seth took it a step further, saying he sees people with children struggling to find the same time for work and personal enjoyment that he and his wife have. “I seem to get a lot more active enjoyment out of not having kids than anyone I know seems to get out of having kids.” That statement will probably divide people. Some see raising children as life’s greatest joy, while others believe a fulfilling life doesn’t have to include parenthood. Do you think Seth has a point, or is there a kind of happiness you can only understand after having children?

First time I have ever agreed with Jason on anything.
If you sponsor this podcast, calling for the execution of Elon Musk, I will never use your product… and will buy from both of your top two competitors This is unacceptable and dangerous. This a dog whistle to murder someone because you disagree with them — and this is the same guy who joked about the assassination against President Trump. Fuck this piece of shit.

you should not be advertising on a podcast hosted by a man arguing that elon musk should be executed imo
Scott Galloway calls Elon Musk a "traitor to the West" and invokes the executions of the Rosenbergs after WW2. "We lined up the Rosenbergs against a wall. This is a traitor to the West, and he should be held to the same standards as every other traitor in the West." *Applause* These people are absolutely unhinged.
