Always a fun day driving around the mallee with the crew from Salmon Gums. This season has certainly proven how resilient they are. As a bit of thanks for supporting @SEPWA_ag variety trials and research in the region, lucky grower @SamGuest82 won 1t of Calibre. What a great day!

Farmers need to realise that the only people who care about farming are farmers and perhaps some of the people who rely on them financially. To consumers you're less important than the people who make Audis and iPhones.

Bombshell leaked emails suggest that @AnimalsAus offered money to live export ship workers to film sheep being exported in horrific conditions.

When you sit down to roast beef tomorrow just consider. Farmers get 21% of animal after 3 yrs . Processors get 28% after 3 weeks and retailers get 51% after 3 days

As we approach a week after the most recent frost events, now’s the time to call your consultant and go look for potential frost damage and discuss possible management options ow.ly/9uWf30lUtzH #GRDCFrost ow.ly/d/7WLY ow.ly/d/7WLZ

Dye does not indicate ability of CHO to be transported to grain. Xylem transports water & dye, phloem the CHO. All it does is tell you if transpiration/xylem flow is compromised. Not CHO. Can be used to indicate damage to xylem flow, but can be misleading. Dissection way to go.

#agrimaster pay attention my wife sat in a room full of farm office managers (representing around 50 businesses) where the vast majority declared their intention to change to #quickbooks or #myob type services. Payroll, value for money and poor service were stated reasons.
