63% of job seekers who use AI on their resume say it added something untrue, like a skill, a number or a result, per a Huntr survey.
Here’s a list of 263 employers that don’t post jobs on LinkedIn, 102 job boards and search tricks, and 163 networking groups

Launching: 100+ real resume examples that landed interviews* 🚀
“Can I see a resume that actually worked?”
That’s a question I get often in my 1,000+ one-on-one resume reviews.
So we rebuilt our library of real resume examples to show what works right now to land interviews.
116 resumes that landed interviews at Google, Amazon, Microsoft, OpenAI, NVIDIA, Netflix, Disney and more.
Like this senior software engineer resume, which landed interviews at OpenAI, Microsoft and Amazon.
Biggest takeaway? More than half the bullets in the real resumes behind them had a number. Revenue, budgets, team size, users, hours saved. Think size, scope and scale of the work, and proof of impact.
Most resumes I review miss this...
There’s an example for most roles: software, data, product, sales, finance, marketing, operations, entry-level, and career changers. Let me know if yours is missing.

🆓 Reminder: I do 5 free job search support and resume review calls every day. Reach out if you could use one.
👉 Like, comment, and share so these data-backed examples reach the job seekers in your network who could use some help.
*Each one blends 3 or more real resumes from people in Huntr’s database who reached the interview stage for that role. We changed names, employers, schools, dates and numbers so no one can be identified. The interview companies are real. These are anonymized resume composites designed to show best practices.
I've reviewed 2,000+ resumes. The #1 fix I make is cutting AI slop.
Search your resume for these words and delete them:
results-driven
detail-oriented
seasoned
leverage
synergy
Also cut percentages with no context and em-dashes.
Put 1 real number in your first line. The biggest, most job-relevant thing you've done. Size, Scope, Scale of the work and proof of impact.
Hiring managers have TikTok brains. Numbers jump off the screen louder than words. I've learned this from Amazon and Microsoft recruiters.
Send this to someone rewriting their resume.
What resume word do you never want to see again? What AI resume tells do you see?
Applying in the first 24 hours gives you a huge advantage when job searching. Here's how to find those jobs. 3 ways:
1. Google Jobs
Search "[your job title] jobs [your city]," open the jobs box, and set Date posted to Past day.
2. Company hiring software
Paste this into Google:
site:greenhouse.io "marketing manager" Denver
Click Tools and set it to Past 24 hours. Your web address will end like this:
&tbs=qdr:d
That's Google's "last 24 hours" filter. Swap greenhouse.io for jobs.ashbyhq.com, jobs.lever.co or myworkdayjobs.com to search those too.
3. LinkedIn
Set Date posted to Past 24 hours. Your web address will end like this:
linkedin.com/jobs/search/?ke…
Change r86400 to r3600:
linkedin.com/jobs/search/?ke…
Now you only see jobs posted in the last hour.
Apply fast, but still tailor it. In Huntr data on 2M+ applications, tailored resumes get about 2x the interview rate of generic ones.
The average LinkedIn application lands an interview about 3% of the time.

4 more Google searches that pull jobs straight from company hiring software:
site:myworkdayjobs.com "your job title"
site:icims.com "your job title"
site:jobs.smartrecruiters.com "your job title"
site:bamboohr.com "your job title"
Workday runs hiring at a lot of large companies. BambooHR shows up more at small ones.
Add your city at the end. Then click Tools and set it to Past week.
The first 4 searches are in the post below.

Which search turned up the most jobs for you?
Today is Election Day, and here is what keeps me up at night.
42% of the job seekers we surveyed could get by for less than 3 months without a job.
18% could not last 1 month.
The job search takes 102 days. More than 3 months.
So, for 4 in 10 people, money runs out before the average job search ends. Unemployment insurance can help, but only 1 in 4 unemployed Americans actually get benefits.
Meanwhile, 60% have lowered their salary expectations this year.
37% lowered them by $10,000 or more.
And pay isn’t keeping up with prices.
Median weekly earnings rose 1.5% over the past year. Prices rose 3.5%.
55% of those we surveyed are very or extremely worried that a recession will hurt their chances of landing a job in the next 6 months.
Consumer sentiment in October was the second-lowest reading on record.
If you’re searching, here’s what can buy you time:
- Check your state’s unemployment benefits, even if you think you don’t qualify.
- Hit the job search fast and hard. Apply as soon as roles are published.
- Find jobs outside of LinkedIn
- Save money now. Try to keep 6 months' savings as a minimum goal.
Finally, vote. And keep your economic best interests in mind.

Most jobs never show up in your LinkedIn feed.
Companies post them in their hiring software first. You can search that software straight from Google:
site:jobs.ashbyhq.com "your job title"
site:greenhouse.io "your job title"
site:jobs.lever.co "your job title"
site:apply.workable.com "your job title"
Add your city at the end. Then click Tools and set it to Past week.
The average LinkedIn application turns into an interview about 3% of the time. In Huntr data on 2M+ applications, Google Jobs, Glassdoor, Wellfound and Indeed all beat it.

How long does it take to find a job in 2026? Our data says 102 days to a first offer. For a lot of people, it’s taking even longer...
27.1% of unemployed Americans have been out of work 6 months or more. Outside the Great Recession and COVID years, that share hasn't been this high since the government started counting in 1948.
But there are some things you can do in this market to increase your chances.
First, a few more things from our Q3 Job Search Trends Report:
First interviews came at a median of 52 days. Landing the first interview takes the longest time.
65% of first offers came within 50 applications. Quality over quantity.
More applications got more people an interview: 72% of people with 100+ applications got at least 1, against 23% with 10 or fewer. But the rate per application fell from 10.5% to 2.4%.
More applications gave people more chances, but each one was less likely to land an interview.
What helped?
Tailored resumes: 5.7% interview rate vs 3.2%
Google Jobs: 9.9% vs LinkedIn’s 3.6%
Applying back to a former employer: 17.6% vs 8.6% for the same people
