I still plan on keeping my 🐦 acct since there are still some people that I want to keep following who aren't where the skies are blue.
However, I will probably engage less here as my social media energy has shifted toward 🦋🟦☁️.
I hope you'll find me there:

In struggling to show grace to others, I find empathy to be an important part of my response.
As I relate to what others are going through, what they feel, think, do, I find more grace toward them - not in agreeing or affirming, but in seeing my own humanity in theirs.
So every reel is basically someone shaking a finger and saying the right way to do something is wrong.
If this football season is the price to pay for a hockey championship and a nice basketball tournament run, I'll allow it.

Not sure I've ever watched a loss where the coaches let the players down to that degree.
Proud of the players. Played their guts out and stayed together. The leadership is there, not with the coaches.
Coaches need to own it, acknowledge it was on them.

Michigan's defense has been legit heroic today.
Just not sure if it's Avengers Infinity Way or Avengers Endgame.

Still a one score game, lol.
I'm impressed by the players. There is good leadership on this team because they're battling, staying together, and making plays against the defending national champs.
Coaches are letting them down.

It wasn't Bryce.
It's not Tommy.
Beck is an epic fail.
His decision tree:
He can either recognize his stuff doesn't work and go back to basic things UM does well, or he can just resign.

He brushes it off.
These are unequal weights - an abomination to the Lord.⚖️💔
A proof-text approach to application is insufficient.
Many issues do not have a direct biblical response or instruction.
Good biblical theology, a grasp of context, and a coherent understanding of God's character & wisdom are essential for application.📜
It's conference season, which means good deals on books.
Wipf and Stock has a special 50% off deal for all paperback books with the code CONFSHIP - good until Nov. 30.
Hey that means you can get my book for $18.50 with this deal. 📚

If the evidence bears out that Starshield was deliberately slowed down, whoever did it, whether Elon, Trmp, or both, they must be investigated and charged for complicity in Russian war crimes.

We're fortunate to have a polling site about a mile from our house. We also have several accessible sites within our community. I know that's not always the case.
(and yes, we walked to cast our ballots today) 👍🏼↙️

Happy Hoopsday to all who celebrate. #NBAOpeningNight #NBA 🏀
Restricting gun access & reducing the number of guns available mitigates against shootings by taking the murder weapon out of the equation (obviously).
It's a common sense measure *unless* the widespread sale of guns is your highest priority.
Past time for change.
A new trail - Lake Arlington trail. Got a nice 3.5 mile walk in grayl chilly weather. Love the fall weather in the Midwest.🍁🍂🍃 #scenesfromawalk
