One cannot form a creative person without independence.

I never understood the point of setting unrealistic goals. I tend to be quite conservative. Turns out less competition and a bigger payoff make it worthwhile to pursue. I'll stay conservative for investments, though.

Is genius born or made? Or both? Heavily researching this and writing an article about it.

Perhaps biological evolution will come to an end, only for mechanical evolution to be carried on. A paraphrased version of one of Arthur Clarke's hypotheses.

I was recently hanging out with friends. I told them about a mutual friend who quit school and now works at a shop. Both friends reacted immediately with "Thought he was smart..." and "What a loser!" I was ashamed. Not sure whether or not they're still friends.
