There’s nothing quite like sharing a storm with friends (both old and new).

If Scott Colom wins MS, with almost no national level support, it would probably be because of this most brilliant ad out of the entire campaign cycle. “Pick another protein?!”
She done lost her damn mind.

Statement from Scott Colom, highlighting the team behind the ad. Give them a follow! @RyanSayles_ @patrickgaspard
Important people know the backstory of this ad. @patrickgaspard gave me the idea to take her inexcusable gaffe and do something edgy with it that could get attention. My content creator, @RyanSayles_ directed and edited it. He should be considered the breakout-star of this cycle. He’s going to be a giant in the media consultant game. He did GAME CHANGING work with SO little.

Josh Turek is one of the only American examples of the impact of Agent Orange from the Vietnam War..he has spina bifida, club feet, scoliosis, and no hip socket. And he is now a Senator.
I didn’t tear up until I went back and watched this video of Josh Turek pulling his wheelchair up the stairs to talk with a neighbor. How do you not root for a guy like that?

Statement from Texas’s new governor-elect. It is impossible to overstate the political earthquake that occurred today in the Lonestar State, and one that has been a long time coming.
Tonight, I make a solemn promise to every single Texan. Whether you voted for me or Governor Abbott, or felt so betrayed by a broken politics that you did not vote at all. Hear what Texas said today, loud and clear: Your government belongs to you. And as your governor, I will never forget it. There will be no special set of rules for the wealthy and powerful. No looking the other way when someone in my own party does wrong. The trust you have placed in me tonight is not a blank check. It is a sacred responsibility. And I intend to earn it every single day.

This is a pretty wild statistic.
The last Democratic senator from Kansas was born in 1879.

CBS has not called this Senate race but the outgoing Republican Senator from Texas is doing so
The voters have spoken, and I want to extend my congratulations to James Talarico on his election to the U.S. Senate. I look forward to meeting him and offering my assistance with his transition as he prepares to serve Texans in the U.S. Senate.

Blansas. Another example of the Democratic Party running a stronger candidate and campaign.

Currently winning by over 1 million votes. This is a reputation of MAGAism, through and through, from sea to shining sea.

One of the key takeaways tonight has got to be that America is a whole is much more independent than most people give us credit for. Every state can be purple, and people don’t like being taken for granted by either party. And of course, the specific candidate always matters.

This.
As an independent, I'm surprised more people didn't see the obvious blue wave coming. This was probably one of the more obvious swings. The political pendulum will always swing at some point but with the state of the US economy as a whole, like it or not, it was going to swing, and hard.

Off the planet and still showing up to vote 🇺🇸
Yes, you can even vote from space! All three US crew members had the privilege of voting from space station. We filled out an electronic ballot and sent it securely to the election officials.

This looks really good. Semi-annual ugly cry confirmed for November 24.

UPDATE: Since our last update, two more countries have reported disruptions to supermarket refrigeration systems, bringing the total to seven countries affected across Europe. 🇸🇪 Sweden and 🇧🇪 Belgium appear to be among the hardest-hit countries, with multiple supermarket chains and stores experiencing significant disruptions and food losses. 🇱🇺 Luxembourg has also reported incidents affecting Delhaize stores. 🇮🇪 Ireland has seen refrigeration disruptions at 13 SuperValu stores, forcing chilled and frozen products to be removed. 🇳🇱 The Netherlands has reported incidents at at least 17 businesses, primarily smaller retailers, butcher shops and food-storage facilities. 🇪🇪 Estonia reported a cyberattack targeting refrigeration controls, with freezer temperatures reportedly reaching +50°C. The incident was detected and addressed within approximately 10 minutes, preventing major damage. 🇫🇮 Finland has reported only minor, limited-scale temperature irregularities in some K Group stores. The situation there appears significantly less severe than in other affected countries.
The situation this morning in Europe: A cyberattack is disrupting supermarket refrigeration systems across several European countries, including Sweden, Belgium, Luxembourg, Estonia and Ireland. • What is happening: A vulnerability in specific refrigeration control software is allowing attackers to remotely manipulate freezer systems, causing temperatures to rise as high as +50°C. • Supermarkets are facing massive food losses, with fresh, chilled and frozen products being discarded due to food safety risks. Some stores have experienced temporary closures and delayed openings. The issue involves connected refrigeration systems whose software and security vulnerabilities are being exploited, allowing attackers to interfere with temperature controls remotely. Retailers are responding, working with cybersecurity specialists and taking affected products off sale to protect consumers.

The open misogyny re a female pilot clearly trying to save a bunch of souls makes me weep for our nation. We have got to do better. Today might be the first day I really understand the desire to encourage folks to “touch grass.”

I ask the following with the utmost sincerity: Is it too much to ask for us to be kind to each other for just one fucking day? Jimminy Mariah… ..,gosh.
I really wish that we could openly and reasonably discuss transportation accidents, incidents, and disasters without sharing video of people dying. This entire app deserves a “sensitive content warning” sometimes.
