If I am a coach of girls' athletics or cheer, I need to sign-up for TGCA before Nov 1 to avoid a penalty. This will allow me to nominate deserving athletes for Academic All-State, All-State, All-Star, Legacy All-Star & Athlete of the Year. austintgca.com

The UIL had Dr. Breithaupt, Dr. Harrison & Dr. Cousins onsite at the TGCA Summer Clinic. Ray Zepeda, UIL AD, brought the Asst. AD's; Grace McDowell, Joseph Garmon, & AJ Martinez to present, & the entire support staff to meet our coaches. Much appreciated.

The battle of Hansford Hill. Go Hounds.

The ghosts , including my Dad, will be in the stands. What a tribute to the past.

It is good to see real, pure basketball by the USA women. Defense, a structured offense with true post play, & unselfishness from all the players. They look & play like a disciplined team. USA,USA.

Congrats to Coach Gerlich, Texas Tech & Bailey Maupin. Red & Black looks good on Bailey.

I may not know you, & you may not know me, but we can become friends for life if you agree to support girls' athletics in Texas as it is today.

No one knows your intelligence level until you open your mouth, or put up a political sign.

Never jump to conclusions without knowing all the facts. A vast majority of things you worry about never materialize. Don't look for reasons to be upset. Approach problems with a positive attitude using reliable resources to help solve the situation.

Isn't somebody going to have to pay for all this free stuff being promised? Are increased local, state & federal taxes the solution? Nov. 3rd will decide the direction the nation will go. I look forward to voting. How about you?

The last state championship in Gruver basketball was 54 years ago. The Gruver Lady Hounds jus won the AA state championship over a good Muenster team. At this time, they will put the 3rd state championship ball on the wall. Super proud.

Lady Hounds in the state finals and Hounds in the regional finals. A town divided by miles, but not spirit. Gruver proud. Not many schools have this problem!

A great day to be a Gruver Greyhound. Go Lady Hounds in your game this morning in your quest for a State championship in San Antonio, & to the Hounds in the regional tournament tonight in Levelland. It is a good day to be from Gruver.
