Congratulations to @AlistairCarns who has been appointed new Veterans Minister. Al served 24 years in the Royal Marines and reached the rank of Colonel, left the military in May this year to run in the general election.
He was awarded the Military Cross for his actions in Afghanistan and will now run the Office for Veterans Affairs for the new government.
