Had an abundance of nice oaks fall due to storms, White Oak, Red Oak and Water Oak that I pretty much spent the weekend splitting it for fireplace use. Had to actually give away a couple of cords to the neighbor across the street to keep my piles manageable.
Late November, my Live Oak tree tree dropped a boatload of acorns. Scooped some up and planted them in the yard at the time, before the deer got them....
