YO my work is being shown in Chicago this week for the DNC; thank you to IntoAction2024 for showcasing one of my pieces, (full story in replies)
This is the first time my work has ever been professionally shown outside of Wisconsin ππβ€οΈβπ₯ I feel so lucky & grateful β€οΈβπ₯πΊ
I found a hole in my most reliable pair of socks this morning and I imagine this is what it felt like to look around on the beach of Normandy and see one of your pals holding his own leg
I never updated this app from Twitter to X, in the past I couldnβt see quote tweets (still canβt) and now I canβt reply to tweets π
Not gonna update until it breaks, then Iβll just leave again Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
Dear Twitter, Iβve returned after a long hiatus.
Iβm a first generation Palestinian artist living in Milwaukee, WI. I used to have a large voice on this platform, but alas I am tired. A tired dog barking into the void.
Art is the only discourse left. Art will save us.

What's the secret to Milwaukee's blossoming creative scene? Photographer and artist @SamerGhani joned @sandymaxx to talk about how the city's artistic identity has yet to be fully formed... and that's a good thing.

(special shoutout to @SamerGhani for giving me great advice on how to capture a show while in a packed venue)
Opinion: Iβm an award winning artist that was born and raised in Milwaukee; and taught through MPS schools, grateful for this amazing city and happy to see ungrateful people like you leave π
Opinion: Milwaukee is a lawless city. I'm glad I escaped. | Letters jsonline.com/story/opinion/rβ¦

This rules.
Best rock club (and we've been in a LOT of em) run and staffed by the best humans we've ever known, and it's not even close.
Cactus is the model. Now everyone else catch up.

The work that @SamerGhani and team have done the last few years is crazy cool! A "simple" corner bar, @CactusClubMKE is becoming a hub of world-class musicians. You can see music from freaking Jack White to the latest viral TikTok beats!

This rules. Cactus Club has always ruled, and it's been incredible to see it rule in new and better ways in recent years.
Everyone say this rules for @CactusClubMKE π€π€π€
