Where is the law? Apparently, no where to be found in this case of political persecution.

Zionist occupation forces abducted 5 members of the family of released prisoner Mahmoud Issa and 5 more citizens in northern Jerusalem.
Israeli occupation forces arrested three sisters, a brother, and a nephew of liberated Palestinian prisoner Mahmoud Issa last night.
They abducted the liberated prisoner's family following an invasion of the town of Anata, northeast of occupied Jerusalem. In the town of Biddu, northwest of Jerusalem, occupation forces also arrested five other citizens during an incursion into the town.

The Trump administration, in collusion with scores of public and private colleges and universities, has unleashed one of the most widespread and coordinated campaigns to suppress free speech and restrict the right to protest in US history.
The targets? People who have the courage to support Palestinian liberation and sovereignty and to condemn the Israeli government’s genocide in Gaza and its atrocities in the West Bank.
While we have seen many attacks on constitutionally protected civil liberties throughout American history, the scope and scale of the systemic repression of Palestinian speech makes this one of the worst. And it’s far from over.
The history of the United States has been stained by repeated episodes in which the government, aided and abetted by private organizations and institutions, has deliberately censored speech and punished protests that espouse political views at odds with those in power. While the direct victims of such systemic repression suffer the most, the American people as a whole are also being victimized.

This is worth sharing because sometimes, even settlers outside of the West Bank do not seem to understand these dynamics. Therefore it’s unlikely that folks elsewhere in the world can intuitively grasp these dynamics.

Explain how the killing of two soldiers manning a checkpoint as a part of an illegal military occupation was a “criminal act” please
I’m grieving the deaths of the two Israeli soldiers killed in Hebron today, and praying for the full & speedy recovery of those who were injured.
I’ve spoken out loudly this week against Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, which imposes violence on a daily basis, and I will continue to do so. But violence is not the path to ending it — or to achieving safety, freedom, and peace for both Palestinians and Israelis.
And neither is collective punishment or ethnic cleansing of an entire neighborhood, or punishing millions of people for the criminal act of two, which Netanyahu has promised to enact in response.
I’ve seen a lot this week and I’ll have more to say about in the coming days (I’m on my way home shortly). There is a path to ending this excruciating cycle of violence. It starts by insisting that every life is sacred, that everyone is created in God’s image.
For now: Shabbat Shalom, to everyone who believes in the hard work of making peace & justice a reality, for everyone.
It is the absolute right of people under occupation to resist that occupation through armed struggle. It is the opposite of a "criminal act." Further, the Al-Khalil operation explicitly targeted armed, invading soldiers imposing an occupation checkpoint on Palestinian land.
