Most privacy solutions still force a choice: either show everything or hide everything.
@primus_labs is trying a different approach. It uses zkTLS so you can prove data is real and came from a trusted source without revealing the data itself, and FHE so you can run calculations on that same data while it stays encrypted. Privacy and verifiability can work together instead of competing.
The useful part is that institutions and larger users usually can’t operate if every position is public, but pure privacy without any way to verify claims also doesn’t work in real finance. Primus sits in the middle. It keeps things private by default, while still letting you prove specific facts when needed. That can matter for stablecoins, proof of reserves, confidential vaults, and institutional activity on existing chains.
Right now, with more focus on both compliance and user privacy, a layer that works on top of current chains instead of replacing them feels more practical than starting over.

This is probably the most important part
Before placing any trades make sure you understand:
• Which Spot and Futures trades actually count
• How eligible trading activity is measured
• Whether Spot and Futures have separate rankings
• When the competition starts and ends
• Which trading pairs or activities are excluded
Don't rely on assumptions the official challenge rules are what matter when it comes to scoring and rankings.
4️⃣ How to participate
Once you've confirmed your eligibility and understood the conditions
1. Visit the Qafila campaign page.
2. Open the Spot or Futures markets covered by the challenge.
3. Follow the qualifying trading conditions.
4. Keep an eye on your leaderboard position through the official campaign page.
One thing worth remembering: don't let the competition push you into trades you wouldn't normally make
Futures trading carries significant risk especially when leverage is involved.
5️⃣ How do the rewards work?
There's 75,000 USDC allocated to this challenge
But that's the total shared reward pool not an individual reward for everyone who joins
Your potential allocation depends on your final ranking and the campaign's reward distribution conditions
A few things to keep in mind:

Came across @zerufinance and it actually looks at your wallet history and turns real activity into something you can use. Connected a couple of wallets I already trade with and it already gave me a starting zaps balance based on past activity.

A reserve number is easy to publish. But how do we know what it actually proves?
This is where @primus_labs and verifiable financial data become interesting.
When a stablecoin or crypto platform claims to be fully backed, seeing a number on a dashboard isn’t enough.
We should be able to ask a few basic questions:
→ Where did the reserve data come from?
→ Can the information be independently verified?
→ Does the reported amount actually represent assets available to back the liabilities?
The challenge is that not all reserve information lives onchain. Some assets may be held in exchange accounts, banks, or other financial services.
This is where zkTLS can be useful.
It can help create cryptographic proofs about information obtained from authenticated web services, without requiring the entire underlying data to be publicly exposed.
Combined with verifiable computation, this creates an interesting possibility: financial information can be checked and verified while sensitive account details remain private.
But there’s something important we shouldn’t overlook.
Proof of Reserves is not the same as a full financial audit.
It doesn’t automatically prove that all liabilities have been disclosed, that assets are free from restrictions, or that every customer can redeem their funds at any time.
The quality of the proof depends on the data, the methodology, and what is actually being verified.
Personally, I think that’s the bigger conversation we need to have in crypto.
It’s not just about showing proof.
It’s about understanding exactly what that proof tells us and what it doesn’t.

Most privacy tools make you pick one: either hide everything, or show everything.
Neither really works for institutions.
They still need to prove things like reserves or that a strategy is solid, without putting their positions, money flows, or counterparties on display for everyone to see.
@primus_labs is trying to fix that. It sits on top of the chains we already use (including BNB) and uses zkTLS + FHE so you can:
• Prove that some data actually came from a real place (like a bank, exchange, or API) without showing the data itself
• Run calculations on encrypted information, so positions stay private but the important claims stay checkable
Keep it private when it needs to be private.
Make it provable when it needs to be proven.
That’s the piece that’s been missing if we want real institutional money onchain.

Would you put $50M on a public blockchain if every competitor could watch your position in real time?
That's the uncomfortable question behind a lot of institutional adoption.
Transparency is great when you're trying to prove something.
It's less great when proving that something requires revealing everything around it.
I've been looking into @primus_labs, and their approach caught my attention because they aren't treating privacy and verification as opposites.
The thesis is simple:
you should be able to prove a fact without handing over everything that proves it.
Their stack combines zkTLS to verify data coming from the Web2 world with FHE to perform computation while sensitive values stay encrypted.
That's a much more interesting problem than simply "making crypto private."
