No church should answer to the Chinese Communist Party. The secret Vatican agreement with the CCP is not improving conditions for Catholics in the country, or the Catholic faith itself. Bishops have simply disappeared. The status quo cannot continue.

These attacks on Kachin Christians in Burma are deeply troubling. They are part of a pattern of severe violations of religious freedom. The US should stand up for persecuted Christians in Burma and hold the military junta accountable for its crimes.

The big banks told us there was nothing to see so just move along, but an investigation by @USOCC found that big banks were making decisions about clients based on their political and religious leanings. @Chase, who debanked us, and the others owe an apology to their customers.
Despite denials from the big banks that it was happening, a federal bank regulator found that banks like @Chase were debanking clients due to their political and religious beliefs. Thanks to @rupasubramanya and @TheFP for staying on top of this story.

Appreciated the chance to discuss debanking yesterday with @RiggsReport. Big banks like @Chase denied they were doing it but their regulator found they did. No one should be denied basic banking services due to politics or religion. #FoxBusiness @TheNCRF

The big banks like @Chase kept denying they debanked people due to their political or religious beliefs but the @USOCC investigated and found otherwise. These banks benefit from taxpayer supported programs yet they betrayed the trust of the American people. #ChasedAway
The OCC’s supervisory review of debanking activities at the nine largest national banks it supervises found that these banks had policies that required, encouraged, or otherwise influenced banks to deny or limit access to financial services to Americans because of their political or religious beliefs or affiliations or their lawful business activities. Read about the OCC’s findings and its efforts to guarantee fair banking for all Americans. occ.gov/FairBanking
China simply can't be trusted as a business partner. They jail their own citizens on trumped up charges so why should foreign businesses and investors feel any safer? China isn't a country we should do business with.

Not sure why people keep asking if I'm voting for @RogerMarshallMD next month. Of course I am. Kansas voters have a clear choice between Marshall and a liberal Democrat who wants to make Chuck Schumer majority leader and block President Trump's judicial nominees.
China pretends to be a rising world power but the reality is that its decline has already begun. Xi Jinping’s rhetoric feeds his delusions, but it rests on a lie exposed by the desperate way his government is lashing out domestically and abroad.

When government claims the power to rewrite scripture, jail believers or separate children from their faith, we must declare: a faith belongs to the faithful souls, not the government. A China without religious freedom is a China we cannot do business with.deseret.com/opinion/2026/09/…

No religion or its adherents are safe in China. Innocent people like Mihrigul Tursun are being tortured and imprisoned. Their only supposed crime is believing in a higher power than the CCP. The West cannot stand idly by and pretend it isn't happening.

These families - often including American citizens - live with the uncertainty of what is happening to loved ones in China. Law abiding citizens can be thrown in jail just for believing in a higher power than the Chinese Communist Party.

It's great to get pandas but let's hold out for China to release innocent people who are imprisoned because they're either people of faith or support freedom. I'll take Jimmy Lai, Gulshan Abbas, Pastor Wang Yi, the disappeared Catholic Bishops and countless others over pandas.

America should not prioritize economic issues at the cost of the fundamental rights of human beings.
At this week's summit, President Trump must raise both issues with China's Xi.

China is brutally persecuting faith groups. At this week's summit, President Trump must hold Xi accountable.
"It's showing the brittleness of the Chinese Communist Party," @SamuelBrownback told FRC President @tperkins. "It's time for us to go right at them on these issues..."

Communist China is "literally hell-bent to put down every community of faith, as harshly as they can, as brutal as possible, to keep control," says @SamuelBrownback.

Appreciate the opportunity to chat with @jessecordweber and @KellieMeyerNews on @NewsNation to preview the summit between @POTUS and China's Xi Jinping. On issues from AI to chips to Taiwan to human rights, the CCP hasn't given us any reason to believe they're trustworthy.
