Oh look. Highest taxes, most debt, most welfare and civil unrest. France is FUCKED and lefties want the same “paradise” here. The more left wing a Government, the more things fall apart.
Tocqueville’s paradox: it is in the most equal societies that people find inequalities most intolerable.

Exactly
Socialists be like: “Capitalism is a failure. Anyway, here’s how I’d distribute all the wealth it produced.”

MGW: 10 goals and 4 assists in the last 14 PL games. Eze: 3 goals and 0 assists in the last 14 PL games. Tuchel was clueless in selection for the WC, bottled his moment so badly he stank the joint out, and STILL does not learn. Get the idiot gone. #nffc

Absolutely this. People have paid for you to perform not to listen to your stupid fucking opinions, opinions that you think make you appear kind, but simply reveal your ignorance and stupidity.

If this Government thinks they are getting a penny of the money I want to leave to my kids when I die, they are badly mistaken. With good planning inheritance tax is totally avoidable. Speak to an IFA. Help the government get none of your estate. They will only waste it.

So who can actually play in this system? Sels (although an upgrade would be good)✅ Murillo✅ Milenkovic ✅ Diomande ✅ Morgan✅ Anyone else? Struggling to see it. #nffc

Have you been paying attention today @LucyMPowell ? Some great schools for you to visit to better understand how to raise standards and not dumb them down. You won’t though, will you?

Come on now Barbara, let’s get that promised applause up and running……
Replying to @Samwillsort
I'm happy to applaud their students for their GCSE successes. But I'll also applaud the students in other local schools, who get excellent results every year. Exceptionalism & a public narrative that their way is better than others isn't a fair reflection on other schools.

Ben will clearly be extremely happy with the tremendous results Michaela has achieved at GCSE. You seem very quiet on this Ben, are you still there?
Replying to @Miss_Snuffy
People are allowed to criticise you, Katharine, and likely for other reasons. Like how your “top school” is highly selective to begin with. Said school being a grade machine. Or how you earn lots of money from education - while seeing your god complex school model as superior…

Looking forward to the rationalisation by her detractors as to why this is not good news or as impressive as it’s so clearly is. A non-selective, inner city state School with unbelievable good results. Watch the silence from the left.
Over 50% of all GCSE grades were grade 9! Amazing achievement from the pupils and staff at Michaela! 🥳 Woohoo!

Spot on. Socialists actively hold people down and hate success. Even when the success is improving the lives of inner city kids. They champion nobody and destroy everything good.
If Labour were serious about social mobility - getting poor kids into top universities - they’d be championing Michaela’s methods in every state school in Britain. Instead, they attack the very approach delivering those results. Ideology trumps social mobility. Every time.

The new Education Secretary thinks schools focus too much on academics. Sweet Jesus these people are moronic in the extreme.
We must recognise that an over‑focus on academic outcomes has left too many young people behind. The revolution happening in post‑16 technical and vocational education will soon be matched for 14 to 16‑year‑olds. I look forward to making it happen. gov.uk/government/news/pm-fr…

They’ve heard it all before. We’ve heard it all before. By far far more intelligent, determined individuals who actually wanted to improve things not carry out class war. Dog whistle woman in charge of our kids education? God help us.
Every child, wherever they live, should grow up with opportunity on their doorstep. It was a privilege to walk through the door as Education Secretary to start that work.

Still want Tuchel gone. Yay, we can play when there is no pressure & the opposition couldn’t give a shit. No guts or character required. No need to think coolly under pressure and make good decisions. When that was required we fell apart. THAT was the test. See ya Thomas #engfra

So, out of the c.700 minutes this England team played at the World Cup, how many minutes did we look positive and front footed? 30/45? Same old, same old. Sacked Southgate and hired Southgate. Off you pop TT. Bottled it when you told us you were different. You’re not. #ENGARG

There are two types of people in this world: 1. Those who think @garyseconomics is some sort of genius. 2. Those who know he’s the biggest grifter in the public eye right now. And that’s some achievement looking at our politicians. (Buy my book bruv & pay for my substack init)

Lisa struggles with being held to account
I've decided to leave this platform and my Department will too. A platform originally designed for free speech and expression now favours abuse and misinformation over meaningful debate. It isn't healthy for our democracy or our communities and I don’t want to support it.
