Well what is stated there paints a somewhat ambiguous picture with regard to the overall impact of badgers. Also just calling out badgers as being solely responsible for the decline of hedgehogs fails to explain why they are also declining in areas not inhabited by badgers.

The evidence points to a range of different factors driving their decline beyond badger predation alone, including habitat loss and degradation (and also habitat fragmentation caused by impermeable barriers such as fences), road deaths, pesticide usage reducing their prey, etc.

Why not have a Google for yourself? Ecosystems are highly complex, interconnected systems, and its highly unlikely that predation by badgers - a species they have long coexisted with - is solely to blame for their decline. Something to get you started: sciencedirect.com/science/ar…

A foolish assertion..how do you think badgers and hedgehogs were ever able to coexist in Britain if badgers gobble up hedgehogs on sight? Also, given that you have a scientific education, odd you are cherry picking a single overly-simplified explanation, ignoring all other data.

If you are stating belief in a particular deity, then the onus is on you to provide evidence that supports the existence of the deity in question, the burden of proof lies with you. Atheism is simply the lack of belief in any deity, and so it doesn't have this burden of proof.

Surely adhering rigidly to blind unquestioning faith in something lacking evidence for its existence beyond the heads of believers is to have departed from reason though?

It would be very obvious from DNA evidence if each and every species was descended from only two individuals. If even able to survive, they would be incredibly inbred with a very clear signature of this in the genome of any and all species. Which there very clearly isn't.

The existence of many forms of disease suggests the body doesn't always work perfectly. Also human eyes come with a blind spot which is arguably an imperfection (which cephalopod eyes lack).

It isn't, it is a demonstration of convergent evolution. "Trees" do not denote a single biological group, rather the tree like form has evolved many different times independently in distantly related groups of plants.

This might be one of the dumbest and most easily disprovable statements I have ever seen on this platform. And this really is saying something. A few seconds of research would have set you straight on this. homeprotect.co.uk/blog/unocc…

In this article for @chemcollective1, I examine the growing body of evidence to suggest that psychedelic use can potentially lead to “the betterment of well people”, to quote Bob Jesse, able to elicit sustained shifts following just a single experience. psychedelics.community/scien…
