🔥 Prescribed Burn Planned for Carrington Coast Ranch
Sonoma County Regional Parks, in partnership with CAL FIRE Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit and Sonoma County Fire District, will conduct a permitted prescribed burn at Carrington Coast Ranch Regional Park and Open Space Preserve on Tuesday, October 6.
🔥 Fire crews may begin ignitions as early as 8 a.m. and continue throughout the day.
👀 Smoke and fire will be visible in the area. Please don’t be alarmed, this is a planned, permitted prescribed burn conducted to support wildfire resilience and ecosystem health.
📵 Please do not call 9-1-1 to report smoke or fire from this operation

#LedsonFire UPDATE (3:17 pm): Forward progress of the fire has been stopped and crews have hose around the perimeter of the fire. The fire is 10 percent contained. Firefighters continue working on strengthening containment lines. One helicopter remains on scene supporting ground resources with water drops on the fire.
