For the events that are currently occurring at CFB Wainwright, if you learn of a name or come across a social media post sharing a name, please do not repost it.
The military has a notification process in place (I did casualty processing in Afghanistan).
You don't want a loved one to find out through social media.

Here's something interesting. There isn't a single party in Canada that doesn't claim to support everyday Canadian patriots.
Liberals say it. Conservatives say it. The NDP says it. Every one of them wraps themselves in the flag and tells you they're fighting for ordinary Canadians.
So here's my question: if every party supports us, why are we worse off than we've ever been?
Because there's a difference between supporting patriots and using patriots. They love your vote. They love your taxes. They love standing in front of a flag for a photo op.
But the people they're supposedly fighting for? They don't want a savior. They just want the government to leave them alone. Let them work, keep what they earn, raise their kids, and live their lives without Ottawa's hand in every pocket.
Pipelines? Killed. Paychecks? Stretched thinner every year. Your voice? Ignored the moment the ballots are counted.
Don't listen to what they say about patriots. Watch what they do to them. That's the only support that counts.

Moving scenes as Pope Leo XIV cries as thousands of faithful sing the Salve Regina in Latin to honour Our Lady of Paris, on the steps of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris.

A very hardworking worker! A bonus for him!
Loyalty is rare. If you find it, keep it.
Beautiful

I strongly encourage people to look into what the Pontifical Foundation Aid to the Church in Need does around the world and what “freedom of religion” entails for the Church. We often overlook papal teachings as though they were meant only for us in Western liberal democracies...
