Ten years of one party control has left our rural communities with less access to care & in a constant fight to keep clinics open.
Zach Lahn supports the cuts that put us in this spot. He won't have to live with the consequences because he can just fly back to Kansas, but Iowans will suffer.

In literally the last election, @ZachLahn asked to have his Iowa ballot mailed to him in Kansas?!

Zach Lahn re-registered to vote in Iowa in Oct 2024 — just in time to qualify to run for governor in 2026.
Lahn cast an Iowa ballot in 2024.
But previously unreported voting records show he requested it be mailed to him — in Kansas.

Joe likes to lie about my values and my record to voters, but here’s what he really thinks about me. I've dedicated my life to my faith and overcoming difference. I'll do the same in Congress.

Alaskans don’t need any help voting for their preferred candidates, and the State of Alaska has already handled this by clearly distinguishing the candidates on this year’s ballot. The Department of Justice should never have filed this lawsuit.

Due to the recent attack ads in Ohio by the Ramaswamy campaign I am donating the maximum allowable by law to Amy Acton.
I’m a life long Republican
I don’t know @amyactonoh or her policies and frankly I don’t care.
Some things are bigger than party.
First Barbara donates $2,500 to Talarico and now Neil Bush admits he voted for Talarico.
Neil Bush—brother of one President Bush & son of another President Bush—explains why he voted for @JamesTalarico.
In part: “My vote was motivated by two things: deep concern about Ken Paxton's record and genuine admiration for the character & principles I see in James Talarico.”

Opinion: Reckless behavior of this Ohio governor candidate can't be ignored. We're endorsing rival dispatch.com/story/opinion/e…

Amy Acton's estranged mother lost custody of her children after her second husband was charged with rape and indicted by a grand jury. In court, Amy's mother stood by her husband instead of her twelve-year-old daughter. They haven't spoken since that day in court, nearly 50 years ago.
Politics has become such a disappointing sport of outrage-fueled mud-slinging, personal attacks targeting families, and blatant lies designed to divide. Candidates should debate the issues and focus on convincing voters that their plans and leadership will make life better. That's what politics should be about: bringing people together. Stunts like today's attack ad against Dr. Acton are beneath anyone seeking to lead. nytimes.com/2026/10/20/us/po…

Pulled my wheelchair up steps and knocked doors today with Senator Tom Harkin in Ottumwa.
I won my first race by 6 votes. I did it by knocking doors rain or shine, talking to voters, and listening.
That’s how we’ll win this one too. Join us: Turek4Iowa.com

New post by Ric Zarwell, John A. Lundell, and Kevin W. Techau: Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird has abandoned the state’s top environmental enforcement duties, shielding corporate polluters while everyday Iowans pay the price.

For 63 days, the bipartisan discharge petition that ultimately led to the release of the Epstein files was a single signature short.
Ashley Hinson could have signed. She had every opportunity to buck her party leadership and sign the petition.
She did not.
Vote @turek4iowa.
I voted to release the Epstein files and have spent years working across the aisle to protect survivors of sexual abuse.
Men like Epstein, who hurt children, they’ll have to answer to God. But men who lie about it to win an election, they’ll have to answer to you.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Ashley Hinson fought to block the release of the Epstein files.
