My diagram, ‘Possible causes of your problems’. Reposting, a year and a bit on, as it still seems relevant.

ALT Black and white hand-drawn diagram titled 'Possible causes of your problems'. On the left hand side, subtitled 'Yes': Funding removed from local councils, growing gap between rich and poor, multinational companies not paying their taxes, lack of new affordable housing, government not investing sufficiently in schools and healthcare. On the right hand side, subtitled 'No': Picture of small boat, with arrow; 'People fleeing horrific situations that you and I can't imagine'.

79 years ago today over 7,000 prisoners of the German Nazi camp #Auschwitz, including some 700 children, were liberated by the soldiers of the Soviet Army. 1,689 days of murder, pain, suffering, and humiliation were over. Today we all remember. We must keep remembering.
Do yourself a favour and go and see @MotiveandTheCue before it finishes, or catch it at the theatre screening. Extraordinary play with fantastic cast. @Markgatiss and @JohnnyFlynnHQ were magnificent! What a night of theatre.

On the weekend when we took our youngest to university, in the same year as 2 out of our 4 parents died from Alzheimer’s, watching The West Wing 4.14 ‘The Long Goodbye’ was a poor choice! There may have been tears #westwing
Furious with the media and Government for irresponsible scaremongering in the run up to #alevelresultsday These young people didn’t get to sit GCSEs due to Covid! Could the powers that be remember how they felt at this stage in their lives?! #alevels2023

When you talk about the person who has died, you are helping to keep their memory alive, which is a wonderful gift.

I’ve put off watching the last ever episode of #Endeavour as I didn’t want it to end. But it was perfect viewing for a post-migraine recovery today, even though I sobbed through the last 20 minutes. What a perfect ending to a brilliant show!

We lost our hymn books when our church burnt down. Does anyone have any copies of The New English Hymnal they would like to find a new home for, please? Thanks 🥰
A couple of pages into ‘The bullet that missed’ by @richardosman and I’m already laughing… “We’ve got a table for five thirty. After the rush.” Joyce continuing to be unwittingly amusing.
Nooooo! Son 2 made me a cuppa but it got dropped during the handover…not sure superglue will be able to fix it @ScalaRadio @ForrestMark
So sorry to hear of the huge fire at @StMark_HT. My Great Aunt was a Deaconess there from 1966 to 1987 and remained worshiping there until she died. Prayers for the whole community. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lo…
Finally finished my temperature tree - one leaf for every day of the year. Very few cool green leaves…yet still there are those who don’t accept global warming?!
Thank you to @ForrestMark for talking to me last week and playing a request for our 18yo. And thanks to @ScalaRadio for sending 2 copies of your book. Just need to decide who to give the second copy too…
Well done @SASRogueHeroes for a brilliant, funny, moving, tense, poignant drama which gripped the 17 year old as much as the parents! We would vote it for BAFTAs all round #sasrogueheroes
Finally caught up with the last episode of @AllCreaturesTV and now realise why I’ve been putting it off! Tears may have been shed. Performances by the whole cast were brilliant Z
