Thank you to @EdWorkforceCmte & @RepWalberg for this important report focusing on antisemitism in K-12 education! This is a very real problem that has not received enough attention.
🚨 NEW REPORT: Antisemitism isn't just happening in America's classrooms. It's being written into the curriculum. Committee Republicans' investigations into school districts in Philadelphia and Berkeley, along with the nation's largest teachers union, NEA, uncovered antisemitic materials in classroom curricula, troubling conduct by educators, and failures to adequately address antisemitism.
Jewish students deserve classrooms free from antisemitism—not schools that perpetuate it.

🚨 NEW: For the @WSJ, @Hartz_PhD and I expose the ideological takeover of the American Psychological Association.
The APA is facing the possible loss of its federal accreditation authority following allegations of widespread antisemitism.
But while the APA's antisemitism problem is serious, it's only a symptom of a much deeper ideological rot.
The organization has become so captured by radical left-wing political activism that its commitment to scientific objectivity competence is now in serious doubt.
We examined the program for this year's major APA Division 39 conference, which drew nearly 800 attendees and held 90 panels over four days.
By our count, roughly 70 of the 90 panels were overtly political, and always left-wing. Topics included abolishing the family, queer anarchist psychoanalysis, dismantling gender assessment guidelines, and white supremacy. One session even concluded with a drag show.
There was at least some hope that the threat of losing federal accreditation might prompt some institutional soul-searching. It didn't.
Instead, APA members just elected Candice Hargons as their next president. Her campaign identifies "systemic intersectional oppression" as the profession's "common enemy" and calls for rejecting the traditional scientific notions of objectivity.
Psychologists wield enormous influence over vulnerable patients, and the people seeking treatment deserve the peace of mind knowing that the care they're receiving care is evidence based and not tainted radical politics.
We believe most would agree that federal accreditation should actually mean something. If the APA cannot distinguish its scientific mission from its political activism, the Education Department should reconsider whether it deserves the government's endorsement as an authority over psychological training.

A Michigan School District is still using racial hiring quotas despite the Supreme Court's ruling in SFFA v. Harvard.
“The Supreme Court could not have been clearer in Students for Fair Admissions: public institutions that take federal money must treat people as individuals, not as representatives of a racial group.” - @SarahPPerry

The Trump admin will soon decide whether to strip the American Bar Association’s (ABA) law school accrediting arm of federal recognition.
"These law students are actually going to get a better education. Because we get the ABA meddling away from curricular inclusions, and we get them away from race mandates in admissions and in hiring and promotions, we get back to ground zero on making excellent lawyers." -@SarahPPerry of @DefendingEd

Seems like a perfect day to share this trove of information about the NSBA letter and the insanity that followed.

Today, the Justice Department’s Weaponization Working Group issued a report detailing how Biden Administration officials at the Department of Justice explored avenues to prosecute parents and protestors who spoke to school boards and school officials during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Records show Biden White House and Justice Department leadership pushed for a memo which sought to find a federal “hook” to prosecute parents and charge protestors with federal crimes, despite widespread concerns from attorneys and agents.
This report follows letters sent earlier today by Department of Justice and @usedgov leadership to all 50 state attorneys general on parental rights.

It has been three years since the Court's ruling in SFFA v. Harvard, and institutions still continue to defy the decision. It’s clear that higher education isn’t inclined to comply on its own.
“The court’s ruling was clear enough. What’s missing is enforcement with teeth. Right now, an institution caught running a race-proxy scheme risks, at worst, a strongly worded finding and a promise to do better. That’s not a deterrent; it’s a cost of doing business, no different than a compliance fine a hedge fund writes off before lunch.”

It’s bad enough that Nikole Hannah-Jones sacrificed her child’s education to her racial ideology, but she experienced the dismal results—and *learned literarily nothing from the experience*.
You’d think she’d be radicalized against the teacher unions and the complacent, self-serving NYC education bureaucracy—which is run by people who agree with her politically—but apparently it doesn’t even occur to her.
If there’s one lesson she should have taken from this experience, it’s that consequential decisions about your child’s future shouldn’t be driven by an obsession with racial solidarity.
That’s not how the NYC white and Asian parents that Hannah-Jones scorns think about educational decisions—overwhelmingly, they simply don’t want the prospects of their children blighted by scandalously incompetent schools.
They freak-out if their kids aren’t getting homework, if the lunch period is unsupervised mayhem, etc., not as part of a conspiracy to leave behind black kids, but out of a intense focus on their duty as parents to see that their own children are getting the best education possible.
Nikole HannahJones clearly could have learned a lot from them.

The Department of Justice just secured an end to “gender affirming care” for minors at two more hospital systems: NYU and UPMC. Since January 20, 2025 over 40 systems have ended these procedures across the country— including six of the largest systems as a result of @TheJusticeDept lawsuits.
Hospitals that target children in these practices, and then fraudulently obtain payments for the procedures, will be held accountable.

Congratulations to the Defending Education team. I read the entire ruling and the judge really spanked the UC system for its unconstitutional policy. This is looking good for free speech. @DefendingEd @nickineily @SarahPPerry – at San Marcos, CA
University of California students who do not wish to call someone by their preferred pronouns may do so without fear of punishment thanks to a court ruling this week.
U.S. District Court Judge Fred Slaughter granted a preliminary injunction against a UC system policy that could punish students for “dead-naming” peers.
Citing precedent that “there is no categorical ‘harassment exception’ to the First Amendment’s free-speech clause,” Slaughter — a Biden appointee — ruled that the students “have demonstrated a credible threat of enforcement.”

We give extraordinary amounts of emotional energy to things Scripture tells us are “passing away” (1 John 2:17).
That does not make temporal matters irrelevant. It makes them relative.
Christ’s Kingdom will remain when every earthly kingdom is gone.
Order your loves accordingly.
