#StainedGlassSunday One of several superb vibrant windows in St. Nicolas, Taplow designed 1912-15 by Arild Rosencrantz & made up by Lowndes & Drury. Lots of charming details, the benevolent sheep at the feet of the Virgin, & angels with musical instruments in the predella panels.

St Etheldreda holding Ely Cathedral, by Margaret Edith Rope, 1929, at Ickleton, Cambridgeshire, one of the county's best churches. She was the cousin of the better known Margaret Agnes Rope, but her work can be found in many East Anglian churches. 1/2

Boer #warmemorial by Louis Davis from 1904 at Stoke Poges, #Buckinghamshire, a treat for #StainedGlassSunday gifted me by @CathyRLowe from our impromptu (for me!) trip there last week. Such simple, but virtuoso #ArtsandCrafts beauty for #StainedGlassSunday.

Pink is today's #OnlineArtExchange. Christ the Good Shepherd was made by Karl Parsons (1884–1934) for St Michael, Sulhamstead (Demolished 1966). It's now @stainedglassmus. Parsons loved to use a striking gold-pink slab glass (made by adding gold dust to crucible of molten glass).

#WindowsOnWednesday in Robinson College chapel. Behind a curtain lay concealed a remarkable side-chapel, with this unusual composition by John Piper.
I believe based on a Romanesque relief with a Madonna & Child and Adam & Eve, against a background of swirling blues & greens.

Wonderful synergy wrought by the textile artists at #Lancaster Priory between the 1965 #stainedglass by Abbots of Lancaster, and the altar kneelers and lectern fall #TextileTuesday #StainedGlassEveryday
