Serbia’s longtime strongman Aleksandar Vučić just got wrecked by students. After 14 years of playing both sides and acting as Putin’s last reliable friend in Europe, he conceded defeat in snap elections. Armenia already jumped ship, Orbán fell in Hungary earlier this year , Moscow’s European allies are officially extinct. The kids finished the job. 🇷🇸 #SerbiaElections
Iran just warned Germany: if Berlin openly joins military action against Tehran, all German military bases and facilities in the region become “legitimate targets” — Fars News (IRGC-linked).This follows Hamburg court convictions of two men (8.5 and 4.5 years) for planning attacks on Jewish/pro-Israel figures in Germany, linked to Iranian intelligence.Germany summoned the Iranian ambassador. Tehran summoned the German one back and called it “baseless.”The same regime accused of running plots on European soil is now issuing threats because it got caught. Predictable.
66% of US voters side with Ukraine. 3% side with Russia.55% of Republicans call Ukraine an ally or friendly.Yet 45% think Trump sympathizes more with Russia.Americans already picked a side. The White House is still pretending it hasn’t.
Iran's Revolutionary Guards threaten US bases across the region if ships keep getting escorts through Hormuz. The regime attacks commercial shipping, then calls it defence. The ayatollahs rule by fear, at home and at sea.
Romania and the EU just pointed the finger straight at Russia after another drone hit a civilian cargo ship in the Black Sea.
On October 23, the Comoros-flagged vessel Khoryv was struck roughly 13 nautical miles off Romania’s port of Constanta, just outside territorial waters. The ship capsized and sank. Of the 13 crew (mostly Ukrainian, some Azerbaijani), one is confirmed dead, three remain missing, and nine were rescued amid rough seas. Romanian President Nicușor Dan called it “a new example of the tragic consequences of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine” and part of Russia’s escalation. The prime minister labeled it a “flagrant violation of international law and freedom of navigation.” The European Commission echoed the accusation.
This isn’t an isolated incident. Over the past two weeks, at least seven merchant ships have been hit off the coasts of NATO members Romania and Bulgaria, with around 30 sailors reported dead or missing. Some earlier strikes landed inside or right on the edge of territorial waters. Romania has already downed Russian Geran-type drones over its own waters. NATO has boosted patrol aircraft, radars, and other assets in the region.
Moscow usually denies or stays silent on these specific hits while continuing to hammer Ukrainian export routes via the Danube and western Black Sea. Hitting civilian shipping this close to NATO coasts looks a lot like deliberate pressure on grain corridors and a test of how far the alliance will tolerate spillover, without quite crossing into a formal Article 5 trigger.
Freedom of navigation is not optional. When drones start sinking cargo ships off a NATO member’s coast and officials in Bucharest and Brussels say the source is clear, the pattern is hard to ignore.
You talk so much about my president being a humanitarian. You are a humanitarian also, sir, and I salute that.”The same Putin who launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, is wanted by the ICC for the mass deportation of Ukrainian children, and has spent years grinding through civilian areas. The “humanitarian” move that earned this salute? Releasing a 74-year-old American teacher (Stephen Hubbard) that the U.S. itself called wrongfully detained. That’s the bar now.Even some Republicans called it embarrassing and outrageous. JD Vance basically shrugged and said at least an American got home. Trump downplayed it.Have you ever watched an American administration grovel this hard in front of a foreign strongman while the body count is still rising? This isn’t diplomacy. It’s a hostage video with better lighting.

The American People Back Zelensky and Ukraine Overwhelmingly. And Trump? He Backs Putin and Russia
Never has such an evil, treasonous man occupied the People's House!
Alberta just voted to stay in Canada. Not close. Not a squeaker. A clear majority told the separatist project to sit down.
This wasn’t some abstract “should we leave someday?” fantasy. It was a straight question on whether to start the legal process for a binding independence vote. The answer was no. Roughly three-quarters of the people who showed up said they prefer a stronger Alberta inside Canada over the headache of trying to carve a new country out of an existing one.
Danielle Smith herself campaigned on the remain side and pointed to actual results: the emissions cap is gone, C-69 no longer applies to their energy projects, and major infrastructure is moving. That’s leverage inside the system, not a reason to blow the system up. Separation sounds clean on a podcast. In practice it means renegotiating every trade agreement, every pipeline, every federal transfer, and every border arrangement while the rest of Canada and the United States watch. The people who actually live there just looked at that and said no thanks.
Some of the loudest voices pushing the other way had been shopping the idea around Washington. That should tell you something. When your independence plan depends on another country’s political class treating you as a useful prop, you’re not negotiating from strength. You’re auditioning.
The numbers are the numbers. Alberta voted to keep the leverage it already has instead of gambling on a process that was always going to be messy, expensive, and unlikely to deliver the clean break the promoters sold. That’s not fear. That’s reading the room.
Trump’s been screaming for months that he wants to end the war and that there’s “great progress.”
Result? Putin doesn’t give a fuck. He keeps bombing right after every fake “energy ceasefire” Trump announces, and in Moscow they’re openly laughing at him .
Zero real political weight: he can’t force Putin or Zelensky to fold. He cuts diesel deals to lower US prices, then gets humiliated on the battlefield. Other leaders see him as a loudmouth with no leverage. The war just keeps going.

Ukraine just dropped one of the biggest drone swarms of the year on St. Petersburg over 1,000 drones according to Moscow torching oil terminals and energy sites. Fires, blackouts, dead and wounded.
Trump spent weeks pushing an “energy ceasefire,” easing sanctions and telling Kyiv to stop hitting Russian refineries because diesel prices hurt before the midterms. Russia kept striking Ukrainian energy infrastructure. Kyiv said “fuck it” and hit back harder.
Now Putin wants a three-way summit with Trump and Xi (no Zelensky at the table) to “settle” Ukraine. Trump’s already calling Zelensky the problem who “doesn’t want to end the war.”
Classic. One side gets told to stop defending itself, the other gets a seat at the adults’ table without the people actually fighting.
Based on Reuters, WSJ, CNN and Russian/Ukrainian official claims.
I completely agree. In Italy, too, those who looted shops and damaged cars must be brought to trial. Extremism, whether on the left or the right, must be firmly opposed.
Political parties that promote extremist and anti-democratic positions should be subject to careful scrutiny, in accordance with the Constitution and the law. I am thinking, for example, of AVS on the left and Futuro Nazionale on the right, which, in my view, contribute to dangerous political polarization.
And take a closer look: despite their ideological differences, both express critical positions toward the European Union and, in my assessment, adopt stances that end up favoring Russian propaganda and Putin’s interests.
Europe needs democracy, responsibility, and unity, not extremism that fuels division and risks undermining civil peace.
Classico.
Be my voice: Najmeh Amini is 23, an accounting student from Mashhad, and the Iranian regime wants to hang her for a social media post.
She was arrested on January 31, 2026, during the nationwide protests. After months in limbo, on September 16 she was sentenced to death for “sab ol-nabi” (insulting the Prophet). In a separate case she got another 12 years, 6 months and 1 day for “acting against national security” and propaganda.
The exact content of the post has never been made public. She told the court she posted while hallucinating after taking mushrooms with friends. The judge rejected it and asked why, in that state, she didn’t insult America or Israel instead.
From prison she recorded a message: “I do not want to make a hero out of myself today. I only want one thing: be my voice. I am an innocent young girl with so many hopes and dreams. I have parents who are waiting for me.”
This is not justice. It is a theocracy using the death penalty to terrorize a generation that dared to protest. Over 50,000 people were arrested and hundreds have already been executed this year. Najmeh’s case is one more example of how easily a private post becomes a capital crime when the state decides it is.
Say her name. Demand the death sentence be overturned. The world is watching.
Zelensky did the right thing: he walked away from Trump’s unilateral “energy truce” and went back to hitting Russian refineries (including Rosneft’s Ryazan plant).
Why? Because Moscow never stopped bombing Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, leaving hundreds of thousands without power and heat while continuing to kill civilians. Kyiv paused for three days at Washington’s request. Russia didn’t. End of story.
Meanwhile the White House restricts Starshield/Starlink and cuts intelligence sharing, and Ukraine is running low on Patriots. Demanding that Ukraine stop hitting the refineries that fund the war, while Russia keeps destroying Ukrainian power plants, isn’t mediation it’s asymmetric pressure.
Anyone defending Russia’s side right now is defending the side that bombs civilian energy grids and then complains when the other side hits back. Ukraine didn’t start this war and isn’t required to fight with one hand tied behind its back.
Can’t make sense of this shit: in June ’25 Elon drops the “really big bomb” on X that Trump is in the Epstein files and that’s the real reason they stay locked, they go full nuclear (Trump threatens to gut his contracts, Musk claims he basically won him the election), the NYT drops the heavy ketamine reports with bladder problems and a daily pill box (Musk: “NYT lying their ass off, I only tried the prescription stuff years ago”), and now the same guy is quietly dumping 276+ million on Republicans for the midterms while they smile and swap medals together. Interests always win, consistency is for suckers. Weird world.

Funny how right after Ukrainian drones wrecked Yandex’s data centers (Sasovo, Kaluga, Vladimir), the bot noise on X quieted down. Cloudflare shows automated traffic from their network cratered to almost nothing, and yeah I’m noticing it too. Fewer copy-paste Kremlin cheerleaders clogging the replies. Coincidence? Sure, let’s go with that.
