This years Breeding Hoggets first up on the Shearing board and looking well after a good winter out at grass 🐑 ✂️ 💪🏼 #sheep #farming

Empty Sheds at last except for the Young Bulls moving on to Ad Lib meal and Wheaten Straw. Very content in a double pen and on the Rubber Mats 🥩 🐮

Hopefully get these fellas out of the shed and on to the grass with another couple days drying! 🤞🏻☀️🌾

All go in the Lambing Sheds with about 70 percent of the main Flock lambed down. Nice to have a couple of Volunteers to keep an eye on proceedings 🐓 🐑

Lovley healthy set of Bull Calves to start a Monday and at a civilised time for what seems like the first one this year! 🐮

Half way mark reached on calves for the year and also the first lamb on the ground. Busy few weeks ahead, hope the weather keeps up. 🐑

Some Goldies enjoying the Spring sunshine and the early calves working away with the creep gate. 🐮 ☀️

Calving season in full swing, all going well so far with the vet assisting with one twisted calf bed. 13 calves from 12 heifers/cows with the 2 nicest ones unfortunately coming as Bulls! 🐮

58 good ewe lambs gone to the factory yesterday worth €18/head less than this time last year and everything that has got them to this stage has gone up in costs! Fingers crossed for a bounce soon.. 😕📉🤞🏻

Running this years Bull Calves and the 21’ Bullocks and Heifers through the scales on a fairly miserable afternoon, all thriving well and rising Beef Market are reasons to be cheery about! ⚖️ 🥩 🐮

Delighted with the Scanning Results, long day penning and scanning the Mule ewes and Hoggets around the place but 2 lambs per ewe is what we want 🐑 🐏 👶🏻👨‍⚕️

We got started on the Christmas Shopping in Gort there on Thursday. Couple of lovely Roan Weanlings to add to the breeding herd 🐮🌲🎁

Happy Stock, well Fed and Watered!

Housing time for the Bullocks, Heifers and In Calf Heifers, fingers crossed for a decent Beef Market come December/January! 🥩 💰

The Rams getting their MOT before the season of Romance kicks off 🐏 💅🏻 ❤️ 👩‍❤️‍👨 🐑

From dust to pure shlop in a week but not complaining ☔️ 🌾 Badly needed!

Nice to be back at the Shows, great day had in Trim. Beaten fair and square by some top quality stock but a great day out!🥉

Some of the stock enjoying the fine weather!

Glad of the more comfortable conditions today after a few hot days outdoors getting Hay turned, Baled and in the shed! 🥵🥵
