When a little girl is forced to stand in a queue for food, clutching an empty pot, the question is no longer what will fill it, but what war has emptied from our humanity, that the sight of starving children has become ordinary.

Tras casi 19 meses detenido, volvió a casa. Su esposa corrió a abrazarlo. Él besó una y otra vez a los hijos que creyó perdidos.
Que ese abrazo nos conmueva. Y que mañana sigamos hablando de Palestina.

A former Israeli soldier says she murdered an innocent Palestinian child — and still laughs remembering it.
His death became a memory someone could laugh about.
What happens to a human being when a child’s last moment becomes someone’s funny story?

When rain, a symbol of life, becomes another threat to those with no roof over their heads, something has gone terribly wrong with our humanity.
Share this. Some realities must never become ordinary.

Russia is dialling in prank calls to inconvenience the public in Europe.
This is coincidentally happening to lots of Irish people when there's a major push towards weapons spending and against our triple lock against the will of the people.

Perhaps technology hasn't failed to connect us; it has exposed how empty connection can be without conscience.
We have made suffering visible to the world, yet visibility is not solidarity.
The question is no longer whether we know, but what we choose to do with what we know.

Perhaps the cruelest measure of a civilization is not what it destroys, but how much humanity it forces ordinary people to preserve with their bare hands
When speaking about Palestine becomes grounds for suspicion, the question is no longer who is speaking, but what has become of freedom itself. Justice means little if conscience must remain silent.
