The NY Times is continuing their attack on the Hasidic Jewish community by maligning the duly elected members of the Kiryas Joel School District Board of Education, who volunteer their time to support special needs students.
This is our official response. Please share it widely.
Kiryas Joel, a village north of New York City, has for years run a public school district that was created to serve Hasidic children with disabilities. The district has directed millions of dollars to the community’s private religious schools. nyti.ms/3IDKN4n

Tonight we celebrate!🥳🥳It's the 78th anniversary of the Rebbe's miraculous rescue from the holocausts.
After being held in captivity for 5+ months in the notorious Bergen Belsen camp, the Rebbe was taken by the Nazis to the Swiss border and was let go with his beard untouched!

Satmar came through for @KathyHochul by a 2-1 margin in Kiryas Joel. These are the signs in synagogues today celebrating their victory.

Wow. My former constituent tells me now “I was going to vote for Zeldin because I’m a Republican but my Rebbe, the Satmar Rebbe, said Hochul and I trust my Rebbe.” I think people underestimate the power of Chasidic Rebbe endorsements.
