@Hertz there is no one at either O'Hare check-in counter and I cannot select my vehicle through the app. I called customer service and they basically said there is nothing they can do and I just have to "wait a little longer"

I can't sleep. I've been scrolling back through discord conversations with @yourealmostcool and I am so sad that he felt suicide was the way to ease his pain. I wish he would have reached out to his friends so we could have helped ease the burden.

Alex's cousin reached out to me with information that she has asked that I share with the community.
@yourealmostcool took his own life. The death of his grandmother around the holidays 3 years ago really affected him, and she believes he couldn't bear the pain anymore.
Please know that she feels guilty for not informing the community sooner, but she was beside herself in grief and did not know how to communicate the news. No one should fault her for that.
