What an incredible day for @thegladechurch hosting Trunk-or-Treat! The turnout was amazing, but watching our members serve w/ such joy was even better! From welcoming families w/ special needs to countless acts of kindness, our church beautifully reflected the love of Jesus.
Great day at The Glade! @thegladechurch

Jesus accomplished eternal redemption once for all, and this morning we gathered in Hebrews 9 to remember it together around the communion table. 🙏 Thankful for a church that rests in a finished work.
We’ve been on the same team in life for years, but there’s one Saturday every fall… well, you know. 😁
The trash talk is real, and the bragging rights last an entire year.
I love her every day of the year… but today, it’s GO BIG ORANGE! 💪🏼🔥💯🏈

Our family mission trip leaves today for Lighthouse Christian Camp in Smithville. On Sunday we prayed over these families and sent them out. Please pray for safe travels, open hearts to the gospel, and joyful service. #TheGladeChurch #LiveSent
Thankful

Delayed obedience is not neutral. It's still disobedience. What has God made clear that you keep explaining away?
We know how to stop moving while our souls keep running. Trusting Jesus does not mean doing nothing. It means faithfully doing what belongs to us while surrendering to Christ what belongs only to Him. Work diligently. Sleep imperfectly. Stop carrying the universe.
1/5 Pastors rarely suffer from a shortage of worthy work. We suffer from too many worthy things competing for limited attention. A simple Faithful Leadership Audit can help: Reduce. Prioritize. Plan. Execute. Measure.
4/5 — Execute
Do the faithful work in front of you. Clarity without action becomes another form of avoidance. You do not need to control every outcome. You do need to take the next obedient step.
Delegating gets work off your plate. Developing puts responsibility into another person's hands. Let someone facilitate, lead the prayer, organize care, or teach. Give responsibility before titles. Your best people need opportunities, not just encouragement.
Congregational singing is not a solo act. We sing to God, but we also sing to one another. We remind weary people what is true. We preach the gospel to our own hearts. When the church sings together, truth moves from the page to the heart—and from the heart to the world.
One hour of reading rarely feels dramatic. That is why its power is easy to miss. Consistency restores attention, strengthens thought, and slowly shapes identity. Intensity gives us a memorable day. A faithful rhythm can give us a different mind.
