Interesting data on US federal employment since 1940 via @adam_tooze who says "The headcount of US federal government has barely increased since 1970 despite a two-thirds increase in population." adamtooze.substack.com/p/tru…

Thanks @USISPForum @Akshobh @kenmoriyasu @BassiJustin @ManjeetKrip for a terrific and fun discussion on the Quad. We certainly “stretched the clock and map” to accommodate and deliver! So, too, does and must The Quad!
USISPF held its inaugural edition of the #IndoPacific Security Dialogues - a monthly webinar series on geostrategic conversations focused on the Indo-Pacific. The first episode explored "The #Quad: Looking Forward" on the 20th anniversary of the grouping. The Quad arose from a nebulous grouping focused on catering to relief work in the aftermath of the Indian Ocean Tsunami to now being, a grouping of a $35 trillion dollar set of economics, dedicated to security cooperation, multilateral diplomacy, and economic relief within the Indo-Pacific region. Our webinar featured four experts representing four different Quad countries. 🇦🇺 @BassiJustin from @ASPI_org 🇺🇸 Dr. @SatuLimaye from @EastWestCenter 🇮🇳 @ManjeetKrip from @GatewayHouseIND 🇯🇵 @kenmoriyasu from @NikkeiAsia The discussion was moderated by @Akshobh from USISPF. Stay tuned for updates on our second edition.
