Source: Toledo star QB Dequan Finn will return for the Rockets tonight in MACtion against Ball State (8 p.m. ESPN). He missed the Eastern Michigan game last week. Finn has accounted for 26 TDs this year. High stakes in MAC West, as Toledo is 4-1 and Ball State is 3-2.

Quirky thing with home field advantage in college football. It's arguably worth 3.5 or more points when powers are hosting cupcakes, but might be as low as 1-1.5 when comparable programs are playing (or 0 if you're hosting Alabama or a superpower). Tough to assign #'s to sites.

All told, market seemed to have these teams too far apart. West Virginia may have been driving for game-winning score as road dog when fluke play struck. Winning rushing 190-76 and 3D's 50-42% on road vs. ranked opponent is a nice stat tandem.
