Former NC State star Trea Turner has a chance to do something that Phillies legends like Schmidt, Utley, Rollins and others couldn't do.
If Turner does win the 2024 NL batting title, it'll be his 2nd. Would become the 67th player in MLB history with 2+ batting titles.
The ACC winners include Pitt, Ga. Tech and Wake Forest. And not all of the P5 leagues have even had a championship game as far back as 2004.
It's past time for Miami to hoist a trophy that matters.

Roman Gabriel was a big part of Wilmington's golden age. Port City is more than Jordan's home. Roman, Sonny, Meadowlark, Althea, many others helped write the city's rich sports history long before MJ, Kenny Gattison, Clyde, Trot, etc. RIP to a legend.
