In @DefraGovUK ‘s words, these deaths are “collateral damage”. AND it is a law that fuels #dogfighting by CREATING status #EndBSL

These children were present at a dog fight. It is well known that children can become de-sensitised by being exposed to #AnimalCruelty - one of the reasons we train #LawEnforcement why dealing with #dogfighting matters.

England has sent a clear message that cruel puppy farmers are not welcome, Wales is due to follow suit, so why is Scotland giving comfort to these commercial breeders who treat animals as just another commodity? #LucysLaw mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/sc…

Got a little nipper in the house? Most mouthing and nipping is playful in nature, but if a dog gets overly excited the nipping can become harder and more difficult to stop. How can you, a-hem, nip this behavior in the bud?

Victoria is what you don’t see when you spot a cute puppy in a pet shop or online advert, kept out of site by cruel breeders mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/vi…
We always recommend therapy for any dogs with behavioural concerns, as neutering is not always the answer and can cause more problems if aggressive behaviour is of concern. However we are pro neuter!
Guys we need this law in Wales too. Please sign and share for the dogs! #LucysLaw #wales #dogs @VN_Times @dangerousdoglaw
UK dog lovers: Pls all sign & share this petition to get #LucysLaw in Wales! Doesn’t matter if you’re not a resident in Wales to complete form & thanks again for all your support: assembly.wales/en/gethome/e-… #APDAWG
As veterinary professionals we also have a responsibility to ensure dogs are not labelled based on a guess rather than evidence. All dogs are individuals, guessing a breed can carry unexpected & damaging consequences.
