🆘🆘 FACEY (ID 260347), 3 YO, MALE– IN MANHATTAN ACC - came into the shelter as an owner surrender on 9/24/2026, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance - moving - no pets allowed. 🆘🆘 😿 😿 😿 😿 ➡️TBD 11/3/26 ➡️ 🆘🆘 1ST Chance on Emergency Placement List – VERY URGENT – 🆘🆘 😱🔥🔥😱 ➡️ 39 DAYS IN SHELTER – TOO LONG – TIME IS RUNNING OUT ➡️ FACEY IS ON THE EPL FOR BEHAVIORAL REASONS - He is not thriving in the care center and continues to display distance-increasing behavior when approached for interactions. He has not warmed up despite staff using treats to build a positive association. This designation often means that the cat will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption.🔥🔥🔥🔥 What my friends at ACC say about me: I lived with children in my previous home. I am looking for a home with a patient person. I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace. I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. I am not one to sit still! I will flourish in a home with someone that will keep me mentally and physically active! I have potential behavior challenges that staff will address with you when you meet me. A volunteer writes: Facey is very smart and very playful. He is also mostly uninterested in the Care Center. The exception to this appears to be treats because they bring even the most wary Facey to the front of his condo. In his previous home, he was an active, talkative, bold, and independent guy who enjoyed spending time with his people, but took his time getting used to strangers. All of this is to say that fitting in hasn't come so easily to him. Snuggled up on top of his den, Facey turned to greet me and then stared at the ground. He has a lot of potential, he just needs someone who will go at his pace. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻 NEEDS OUT OF SHELTER ASAP – Please RT or pledge, if you can, to save this little one. @AdamsPaulGrimke @mehser12 💔😿🙏Thank you
