Six Forgotten New England Monsters 🧵
(During the Kickstarter for Queen Mab's Palace I am trying to blog as a much as possible. This will be separated into two streams; Echoing Stars for my dark Science Fiction Posts, and Fall Posts for more fantasy-esque Autumn Themed ones. The first Fall Post was Twelve Adventures of the Autumn Lands, this is the second;)

"Master, why did the Gods shape our lands as they did?"
"Ahhh, 🧙♂️🤧 you see my apprentice.. 🤔... it was to fit upon an A4 page.."
"Master? 😯"
"Or U.S. letter sized, or even a two-page spread, 😤 it's all basically the same proportion when you think about it"

From P Stu's latest blog post about Thief
This is the whole gimmick with how HIS MAJESTY THE WORM advocates you do dungeon mapping. A basic gist, with numbers to help communicate between players and GMs, but you still need to explore the space to understand it.

No hype. No fanfare. No award show. No voting. No spell checking. No editing. Just some mother fucking RPG goodness. save.vs.totalpartykill.ca/bl… Sorry they are late: my life is bananas right now! #WhoNeedsTheEnnies

🚨 New Blogpost: Is GenCon Worth It? 🎲
Last week I went to my first gaming convention. I had a lot of fun! But many asked me the natural question “But was it worth it?” I try to answer it in blog form ⤵️

How come I haven't seen more OSR/etc. talk about Elantris? Or mention of the similarities to Dark Souls?

Ok, I’d held this back in the hope that more than half a dozen people would see our posts again but 🤷♂️
Anyway for WS6 we spoke with Dan Abnett about the Horus Heresy series, I wanted something very specific to illustrate it & omg @flopscomics delivered! BEHOLD!

This is something I rail about ALL the time.
“legwork is so hard that sometimes it feels like RPG writers and designers aren’t willing to do it at all.”
This is where the magic of game design is. Doing the hard work.

We are at the end of the EXPENDABLE EMPLOYEES KICKSTARTER, and so many amazing stretch goals remain to be reached. I hope we achieve some of them!
I know that EXPENDABLE EMPLOYEES is not a role-playing game, but I wanted to try something new. Yes, I am an RPG Creator, and this is the first time I've dabbled in miniature wargaming. I wanted to make the game as accessible to all players as possible, so miniatures were even made a non-requirement.
So, please support an RPG Creator trying something new.
