It is amazing to see Tamil Nadu tops in the enrollment ratio for higher education among all the states.
WHY DON'T CENTRAL GOVT CONSIDER TO GIVE COMPLETE AUTONOMY TO TAMIL NADU STATE GOVT ON EDUCATION MATTERS INCLUDING TO BAN NEET OR ANY ENTRANCE EXAMS ?
ALSO REQUESTING CENTRAL GOVT TO ALLOW THEM TO IMPLEMENT STATE EDUCATION POLICY.

24 hours later. The same location with the water completely drained. Not only here but in many places we are seeing the water drain slowly but steadily as the sea surge reduces. Yes there has been unprecedented water logging but #Chennai was dealt with a bad set of cards over the last few days. Things will improve soon.
Power finally restored at Anna Nagar, nearly 43 hours of no power, no complaints the TNEB staff are working as hard as they could. The substation at 6th Main was flooded which prevented them from doing anything for safety reasons. Photos taken earlier this morning. Mentally was prepared to grit out another night. Hopefully the rest of the areas around #Chennai also get power soon. Large scale water logging will take time to drain because the rivers, canals and SWD are not able to take the water to the sea. Storm surge due to #CycloneMichuang effectively working like a barrier. Now that it has made landfall things will become better. Take care all of you and Stay strong. #COMK.

The Depression is still off North TN coast of Chennai and adamant with its slow movement. Sheared and teared with no clouds on 3 sides like a skeleton. One side it has the dense clouds and it is slowly moving close to the coast.
