Digital equity and connection to high speed reliable broadband is essential for all communities.
We cannot leave anyone behind, and we especially can’t leave the communities that are most often left behind.
The rural and communities of color.
Investment in digital equity is non-negotiable. Cuts in broadband funding disproportionately affect Black & Brown communities, leaving them waiting for justice. We reject waiting for crumbs next year – it's a form of redlining and racism. #DigitalEquity #PutUsOnTheMap

8 percent.
No billionaire should pay a lower tax than a teacher or firefighter.
I’m calling on Congress to pass my proposal for a billionaire minimum tax.

Biden’s 8% tax statement comes from a theoretical calculation that would include unrealized capital gains (increase in the value of unsold stocks) as income even though it isn't taxable under existing federal law. (Taxes legally occur when stocks are sold for profit.)

Our national debt has accumulated for 200 years.
We've never missed a payment.
Why in God’s name would some Republicans in Congress threaten to default on our debt if we don't agree to their Social Security and Medicare cuts?
