I Made $4,000 Betting On Sports Yesterday. Here's Exactly How. 35% ROI on the day. I started with $280 a few years ago. Will you make $4,000 tomorrow after reading this? No. But if you understand what's below, you'll understand why it's possible, and why most bettors never get close. Here's the whole thing. **What a "good day" actually is** $4,000 at 35% ROI means I risked about $11,400 across a lot of bets. That's the part nobody posts. It wasn't one big parlay. It was a lot of small edges stacked together. Some of those bets lost. They're supposed to. **EV+ in plain English** EV means expected value. Positive EV means expected profit. Every bet has a fair price, the true chance it hits. If the fair price is +100 (50/50) and a book gives you +110, you're getting paid more than the bet is worth. Do that once and it's a coin flip. Do it 1,000 times and it's a business. That's it. That's the whole game. Price, not picks. **How I find those prices every day (@OddsJam)** I use @OddsJam every single day. Here's how: 1. Positive EV tool It compares every book to the sharpest lines in the market and shows me where a book is slow. If the sharp books say a player is 55% to go over and a book is pricing it like 50%, that's the bet. 2. The odds screen Every book side by side. Same bet, different prices. I never take a worse number when a better one is one tap away. 3. Sharp money and whales OddsJam's Prediction Traders tool lets me watch the sharpest traders on Polymarket and Kalshi in real time. The guys with real records and real volume. When one of them bets way bigger than normal, that's a signal. I don't blindly copy them. I check 3 things first: → Is this actually his sport? → How big is the bet compared to his normal size? → Has the price already moved too much? If it passes, I bet it. Usually at a better price than he got. 4. Catching steam When sharp money hits a market, the price moves fast. Prediction markets are SOMETIMES slower (for a few seconds) to adjust than the sharper books. If I catch the move early, I'm getting yesterday's price on today's information. **The limits problem** Win long enough on regular sportsbooks and they limit you. I'm limited on basically every book in Florida. That's why prediction markets matter. You're betting against other people, not the house. Nobody cuts you off for being good. **The part that makes or breaks you: emotion** Here's what nobody tells you. You can be a winning bettor and still have losing weeks. Sometimes a few in a row. Sometimes your bankroll drops a lot. Most people see that and quit, or chase it with a bigger bet. Both kill you. If the bets are +EV and your sizing stays the same, the math catches up. It's not a feeling. It's math. **How I'd start from $280 today** 1. Pick a bankroll you can afford to lose. Separate from bills. 2. 1 unit = 1% of it. Every bet. No exceptions. 3. Only bet when the price beats the fair line. 4. 10+ bets a day, every day. Volume is what makes the edge show up. 5. Track everything on @pikkitsports for FREE. 6. Don't judge anything before a few hundred bets. None of this is exciting. That's why it works. **Why most of you won't do this** Because it's boring. Because a losing week feels like proof it doesn't work. Because a 10-leg parlay feels better than a 4% edge. The people who stick with it don't have better picks. They have rules. This is insane😭
I make $528 an hour arbitrage betting. The average American makes about $29 an hour. I am clearing more than 18 times that during the time it takes most people to eat lunch. Each arbitrage bet takes about a minute to place and pays out $8 to $10 on average. At $9 per bet, hitting $350 a day means placing around 39 bets. 39 bets. 39 minutes of work. $350 in profit. Sportsbooks set their lines independently. When they disagree enough, both sides of the same bet become profitable at the same time. That window does not last long. @OddsJam finds it in real time. This is not gambling. I am not predicting games. I am not tailing picks. I am placing bets on both sides of the same market across two books simultaneously and locking in a guaranteed profit before the game even starts. The result does not matter. Here is exactly what that looks like. This month I averaged $350 in profit per day across 23 days. Every single day is green. That is what my sports betting side hustle pays me when I break down the math. I work a full-time IT job. I am 28 years old. And @OddsJam has become the most profitable thing I do with my time. Here is exactly how I make this work. 🧵👇

The older you get, the more you choose diplomacy over drama and distance over disrespect. Toxicity and chaos become intolerable, and your peace becomes your highest priority. You start surrounding yourself with people who are good for your mental health, heart, and soul.

Normalize never trying to force anyone to choose you. If they think they can get better elsewhere - let them. Respectfully.

Alex is a betting genius and the NBA is the most profitable league to bet. So I’d recommend watching this.
This really might be the best NBA betting strategy of all time

I think when you’re transitioning from being a people pleaser into someone with better boundaries, it can be so strange — it's hard to tell if you’re being mean or if you’re simply just honouring your own feelings, bcoz you’re so used to putting other people's feelings first.

So many relationships could be saved if people would simply put their pride aside, apologize, and actually change their behaviour.
