Sorry Mark. That’s a big loss. Glad they are together in life’s next journey.

After a Google, to suggest it as a Xmas present, I’ve only just discovered that that wasn’t a book review of your new biography called Hexagon (!)

When living and working in Liverpool in the 80s, the flat I lived in had a damp problem with fungi growing on the walls. But - worst of all - was treading on a slug in the kitchen. In my bare feet… It squelched through my toes.

We’re at the fabulous @esa open day at Harwell. Great to see so many people queueing to get in and so many children being inspired by space! You can hear our interviews with two ESA reserve astronauts and a @BepiColombo scientist in our next podcast.
Well @AlisonMoyet was magnificent at Cambridge tonight. Great lyrics, music, between song chat and what a voice!

Unexpectedly, a visit to London’s Museum of Brands produced some fantastic space filled enjoyment!
A good piece on Lyme disease. I encountered many of the issues discussed. Statistically, yes, I was unlucky to get it along with several accompanying infections. But the lack of knowledge encountered and delays in testing and treatment had consequences too.

You might be right. Fractions were never taught as hard when I was young but as puzzles with simple solutions. Eg finding a common denominator - learning times tables was a lifelong gift. Mental maths is fun and I enjoy the fixes you see on reels for working out square roots!

You sure that was a result of the accident?

But it’s so important and useful. If you buy anything on offer, with a % off, or a two for one, or a bulk buy, you need to be able to work it out. A fundamental skill to learn for life.
